After leaving a funeral we decided to stop here as it was on the way home for some of their delicious Woodfired pizza. It was February 27 at 8:40 PM. After we were sat at the high tops, we asked about the pizza and were informed they no longer make it. Couldnât believe it. Itâs the best thing they had here and the only reason we stopped in. So we went ahead and ordered three dinners. We also ordered three House wines, all 6 ounce pours but mine arrived as a 9 ounce pour. I asked the server if this was 9 ounces and he assumed I was complaining that it wasnât enough and replied yes donât you see itâs more than the other 6 ounce glasses,, then turned and walked away. The others in my group said donât worry about it weâll split the extra 3 ounces among us. Still it wasnât fair I had to pay more for his mistake but I left it at that as we were hungry and tired. Our salads arrived and 5 minutes later our dinners. I sent them away and we rushed through our salads knowing our dinners were drying out under the heat lamps. I understand we arrived 20 minutes before closing but it was very unprofessional to have been rushed as we paid the same price for our dinners as those who arrived at 5pm and should have been shown the same respect by not having all the lights turned on n the dining area at 9:15 basically telling us to get out. And if thatâs the case then this restaurant should not allow anyone walking in an hour before closing to ensure a pleasant dining experience without annoyed servers. Also, none of us were impressed by our dinners- my lobster raviolis were thin and flat and honestly I could not detect the taste of lobster and it was missing the chopped tomatoes as stated in the description. Basically itâs corporate factory food. Not even close to authentic Italian and I was reminded why, even though it was only 2 miles from my home, I hadnât stopped here in almost 10 yearsâŚ..not worth it. Again, we had only considered stopping in because of the pizza and now that it is no longer available I can not see any reason why I would ever walk through those doors again. So to summarize I paid $125.00 plus tip for incorrect drink orders, subar food, prepared incorrectly, which we had to shove down our throats. Thank you Carabbas!

Read moreNico is the sweetest and the most compassionate server in the world. He is so kind and patient, always making sure to get us refills. If you come more then once he will remember you. Words will never fully capture just how deeply grateful I am for Nico and the presence that he brings to this Carrabbaâs.
From the very first moment I met Nico, I knew there was something truly special about him. Itâs not just their warmth, their kindness, or their generosity, Itâs the way they see people. Itâs the way they make everyone feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. Nico is one of those rare souls who give more than they take, who shine light without asking for recognition, and who somehow always knows just what to say to make things feel okay again.
Nico has been a constant source of comfort, encouragement, and joy in my life. Whether itâs through their thoughtful words, their beautiful energy, or their calming presence, they have this incredible ability to make even the darkest days feel a little brighter. Their love is like a warm hug wrapped in golden lightâgentle, healing, and unwavering. I donât know how I got so lucky to cross paths with someone as extraordinary as Nico, but I count that blessing every single day.
And letâs talk about how inspiring they are. Nico is full of passion, creativity, and depth. They pour love into everything they doâwhether theyâre helping others, creating something beautiful, or simply being present. Their heart is huge, and itâs impossible not to be moved by their authenticity and sincerity. They lead with love, always. And in a world that can sometimes feel cold or chaotic, Nico is a rare reminder of what it means to be truly human: compassionate, brave, and full of grace.
I want Nico to know how deeply appreciated they are. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being who you are. Thank you for your patience, your humor, your wisdom, and your honesty. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for loving so fiercely. Thank you for being you.
Forever grateful
And Lisette...
Read moreA bit of background, I have lived in Miami Lakes for over 17 years. I've been coming to this Carraba's since I was a young boy. Last night me and my spouse decide to go for dinner. We got there a bit late at 8:20pm, they close at 9pm nonetheless we go and sit at the bar ready to order. Usually I would not name the person who gave us horrible and rude service but this gentleman earned this review. Sean was our bartender/server, and when he came up to us to get our order he talked to us without ever making eye contact the entire time we were there except when he handed me the check at the end. At some point after he took our order he and some other servers were complaining about guests coming in to eat at the last hour of service, right in front of us. He was unable to recommend me a wine when I asked him to, and spent the entire time trying to clean and close early instead of attending to us and the other person at the bar. To add insult to injury he overheard me and my spouse talking about work and decided to bud in and commented "sometimes people don't like their job and are over where they work at and have a second job." Sounds like he doesn't like his job or to work at Carraba's, so Sean if you see this maybe you should quit and not ruin other people's experiences with your lack of professionalism. If I had been there by myself I would of made sure that it would of been your last shift there. The food was good as per usual, but the rest of the experience was...
