Vicky Bakery Miami Gardens — Restaurant in Miami Lakes

I called ahead to order one of their party specials for 15 people and was told that it would not be READY by tomorrow at 8:30 am, BUT the special for 25 people would be. (I found it odd, but it was such an insignificant price difference, I said ok). After I was asked by what time did I need this to be ready, she stated that payment would be required upfront. No problem. I gave her my card and she processed the payment. She asked cake color pink or blue and I proceeded to tell her that I needed this to be written on the cake when she stopped me to tell me that I had to tell them upon picking it up tomorrow. Out of concern for the wait time I was anticipating since this place is always jam packed and they also take long to serve customers, I asked her if I needed to make the line and was told no as it was only to pick up an order. Okay, great. Well, today I arrive and went to stand on the side to pick up my order. I was there at least a good 3-4 minutes and nobody said anything to me, so I told one of the girls that I was there to pick up an order. She said it was the other side, so I went to the other side. Again, nobody said anything so I told the girl closest to me area that I needed to get an order and she RUDELY told me that "When one of us is free, then we will help you." Confused, I ask how is that when all of you are handling the walk-ins and their orders to which she replied, one of us will. After 1-2 minutes, one of them said "I will help you. What is the name?" She found my order and I told her what I needed written on the cake. She took the paper and left. After waiting and waiting, she appears with the 3 trays for my order and proceeds to start wrapping them. i said to her "I needed this order ready by 830 and it is now almost 9 am, why was it not ready?" She replied "Order are prepped upon arrival". I was so upset to encounter this as I had never experienced this despite placing hundreds of order at other bakeries for the past 2 plus decades! Needless to say, I told her what was the point of asking for the time I needed it by only to wait a while there while they prepped my order... I was there for about 25 minutes when I could have easily walked in and out as I have always done everywhere else. I will never place another order with this company again. I want to start of by saying that the service in this Vicky Bakery is TERRIBLE! I placed an order on a Tuesday September 25th to pick up on September 29th. We told the lady there that we wanted 13 cupcakes that were in LIGHT COLORS, more like Easter colors , we asked for sprinkles and she told us she only had light colors which was perfect , and we asked for a specific way on how they had to pipe our cupcakes and the woman told us that was the only way they piped cupcakes now. I left the establishment happy that day. Comes Saturday in the afternoon and the person responsible to pick up the cupcakes goes. When the person brings the cupcakes, I literally EXPLODED it was a total disaster. As i previously said I wanted lights colors, I think they gave me the darkest colors they had there. I had asked for the lights colors in pink, blue, green, and yellow and those ladies gave me DARK BLUE,RED (WHICH WE DID NOT ASK FOR), LIME GREEN, AND PURPLE! They even gave me three extra cupcakes WHICH I DID NOT ASK FOR again!! I called and I told the lady about the incident , she said to bring the cupcakes in and they would give us new ones!! I go to the establishment and we are picking up the "correct" ones , the woman is all of a sudden mad, when it was their FAULT!! As I am looking at the cupcakes this time they were closer to what i wanted, but they were not piped the way I asked for and the sprinkles they put on them were sprinkles you could buy at your local Walmart. Because of the lady in charged of making the cupcakes apparently makes cupcakes whichever color she likes instead of looking at the ORDER we placed with 5 DAYS OF ANTICIPATED, the cupcakes and myself ended up being delayed at the party!! Also the texture of the cupcakes completely HORRIBLE!! Instead of a real cupcake they gave me a muffin with frosting on top!!!!!! I wouldn't recommend for anyone to attend this bakery at this location!! They only have one job to attend their clients correctly and FOLLOW ORDERS, but they can not accomplish it!! TERRIBLE SERVICE...

Last time I will visit this place. Stale pastry, the place was dirty. The screen where credit card users swiped was all full of greasy prints. Disgusting. How hard is it to wipe a glass screen every once in a while?

An older gentleman was given the screen and told to "tip". Well, he did not speak english and asked what it was. The young woman just tapped on the highest tip and told him not to worry she did it for him. Poor man was oblivious to what she did.

Then another older woman paid in cash and a second young worker grabbed the money and shouted "thank you, have a nice day" and walked away. The woman stood there waiting for her change until she finally yelled out loud, "don't you people give customers their change?" Thats when the young worker came back and her and another woman dealt with the change (but not before looking at the customer, then at each other, and smirking). How rude!!

Consumer beware!! Vicky Bakery has gone down the figurative toilet. Antonio and Gelasia's dream has become a nightmare.

The only Vicky that is somewhat decent is the one down on Lejeune...
