Cuané — Restaurant in Michigan City

This place is amazing! Michigan City needed a vegan restaurant here in the city. Those burgers are seasoned to perfection with crisp onion, tomato, and lettuce to complement the delicious burger. Also that Cuanes sauce is fire 🔥I ordered a single cheeseburger burger with a side salad. They offer you either a choice of fries or salad. Prices aren't too bad, I paid $12 for the burger and salad. They offer a discount after spending a certain amount of money. Nicely decorated and right off of Michigan Blvd. They are also black owned so make sure you support this small business. We had a group of three of us and we all devoured our food. Customer service was amazing and they explained the menu in its totality....

Unbelievably good food! It was hard to believe the strawberry milkshake was vegan! I had the Chicago dog with fries, and it was good. The giardinere was bit spicy for my tastes. Husband had the cheesy burger and he said it was really good. They were not skimpy with the toppings like other places. Service was great. The gal at the counter was really friendly and patient as we struggled to decide what to order. We will definitely be returning whenever we are in Michigan City!! Cuane never fails to impress me! The nachos have become my go to order! You do not have to be vegan to be pleased with anything you order. The service is friendly, the food is amazing, and the milkshakes...

This place has great food! The fries were pillowy and crispy, perfectly seasoned, and everything fries should be. The BMP (Bacon Me Please) was very tasty with crispy "bacon," gooey cheeze, and lots of delicious sauce, with a grilled bun and generous toppings. The strawberry milkshake was one of the best shakes I've had, vegan or otherwise! Service was good as well, with staff asking if we enjoyed our meals. We're planning to go back tomorrow before we return home! I do wish they had more eco-friendly containers instead of styrofoam (which were provided even for dine-in). Hopefully they can find a low-cost...
