I happened to be traveling in the area for work and we were dealing with some traffic so we decided to stop for dinner. What a great choice!
This restaurant appears to owned by a young family. Everyone was friendly and attentive. The place is clean, more spacious than you might think, with lots of natural light. Plenty of easy parking too and easy to find.
The menu is robust, and more importantly for me, there were so many gluten free dishes available and all marked! 🙏 The server was careful to describe what was safe for my allergy, including a shared appetizer. Then the chef personally delivered my plate to confirm it was gluten free.
The food itself was fresh and served hot. Everything tasted as expected. My only complaint is that the servings are enormous! 😉
The prices were more than fair. Bathrooms were clean and gender neutral. The whole place is new. I would say it’s family friendly (I think the owner’s kids were there helping out, which I love, having myself grown up in a small family business. Great to teach your kids!!).

Read moreLet me start by saying I'm not a fan of Thai food. I tried it for the first time 15 years ago and wasn't a fan. Two neighbors rave about Check In so we tried it - on New Years Eve. I wasn't going to leave a review at all because I'm not a good source of info for Thai food, but I'm leaving one because of the call I got from Check In tonight. They apologized for the wait on New Years Eve, asked me to try them again, and offered coupons for my next visit. THAT is customer service. Seriously though, read the other reviews on here. Between my customer service experience and the rave reviews from others who like Thai food - this is a great local...

Also, we ordered picked up food, before we had made it 1/2 mile down the road they called us back frantic that they had forgot the chicken for one of our dishes. Before we could even get out of the car they brought it out to us with a complimentary iced green tea for our troubles (which we were pleased they had caught it and had our number and the wherewithal to call us back anyways)
They went above and beyond without being asked-
the food is great too- but they earned every one of these stars because they totally understand customer service and really work to make their customers and guests happy, even if things...
