UPDATE: Hi Josh. Thank you for the update regarding the radio station being changed to a music station. Also, my wife revisited the café recently and had a wonderful experience. She really enjoyed her latte and mentioned that her bagel was perfectly grilled. I’ve changed my review to 5 Stars because of changes that you’ve implemented. Thanks for listening.

OLD POST FROM 1st VISIT: “My wife and I visited this place this morning hoping for a pleasant Sunday morning breakfast experience. Sadly, we were disappointed. We were literally the only people eating in the dining portion of the cafe. The food was laze fair. Overall, nothing to be desired. My French toast was dry and over dusted with cinnamon and powdered sugar. That being said the bacon and sourdough toast was actually fantastic. Coffee was fine.

The most frustrating part of our breakfast experience was that they had the radio station on quite loud airing an infomercial type show called something like ‘Road to Retirement’ talking all about Medicare/Medicaid coverage for chronic vs acute care. We asked the cashier/barista if they could turn the station to another channel so we didn’t have to listen to that while we were eating. Her exact response was ‘it’s piped in and so we can’t touch it.’ we then asked if she could turn it down so it wasn’t so loud being that we are the only people in the dining area but she said she was unable to do so.

We found this to be quite obnoxious, and definitely a reason to never return. This is one of those cafés that you pre-paid for your breakfast and so we had already paid. Otherwise we would’ve walked out. How can a business care so little about their customer’s dining experience and still be in business. My wife and I just stopped into this small town gem and were completely blown away. From the moment we walked in, Coffee Milano gave us that warm, welcoming small-town feel that instantly made us feel at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive—genuine smiles, quick service, and you can tell they truly care about their customers.

We ordered a Large Iced Almond Milk Shaken Espresso for my wife (her new favorite!) and I went with a Large Iced Caramel White Chocolate with Whole Milk—both were out of this world. The flavor was bold, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. You can taste the quality in every sip. These aren’t your average chain coffee drinks—these are thoughtfully crafted with love.

And then there was the Maple Bacon Muffin, grilled with butter… wow. That muffin deserves its own category. The combination of sweet maple and savory bacon, warmed and grilled to golden perfection—it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We shared it, but next time we’re definitely getting two!

On top of everything, the pricing was very reasonable for the quality. You’re not just paying for great coffee—you’re supporting a local treasure that gets everything right: taste, service, atmosphere, and value.

I went to try the coffee at Coffee Milano and was extremely disappointed. It’s my personal goal to find the best coffee available at every area I visit.

The nitro cold brew did not have any trace of the smooth creamy texture normally found in a nitro cold brew nor did it taste like a cold brew. It was simply a regular iced coffee with a bitter burnt taste for $6. I could have bought the same thing at Cumberland Farms for $1. I have crossed Coffee Milano off my coffee destination list.

I do not recommend the coffee and will not go back to try the food.

After wasting $6 on the overpriced poor tasting drink, I am not inclined to throw away more money, hoping the quality and taste of the other items are significantly better than the cold brew that is pretty simple to make.

It’s not unreasonable to assume the more complex items would be a disaster based on that.

This is an honest and unbiased review of the nitro cold brew as described.

Maybe Coffee Milano should put more effort into brewing a better drink vs being offended at an individual’s review of their drink that (based on their response) they allegedly source out. I have also dropped a star from a neutral rating of service based on their childish response to my review. I took the time out of my day to write a review based on my experience with Coffee Milano and give them the opportunity to improve.
