The good thing was I was able to get a table on Valentines day. After reading reviews I was excited to make the 45 min drive for a fine dining experience. While I completely understand the service being slower because of the holiday, most of the food came out warm at best. I can deal with cold food or slow food, but not both at the same time. Drinks were slow to be refilled if at all, the server forgot after I asked for a pop more than once. I will say some of the food had good flavor, but the steak totally missed the mark. I'm not sure how it was prepared but it seemed baked. The flavor was nothing to write home about and it appeard to be flattened with a steam roller before cooking. Almost 40 dollars for the same steak IHOP serves is wild business. Desert was the shining star of the meal, and that too was over priced. The atmosphere of the buildings was pretty cool, however if you sit at the middle tables you will be bumped for the duration of the dinner by servers trying to squeeze by. For spending just shy of 200 dollars this is not what I would have expected. I didn't eat here before the remodel l, and it seems like the place is having some growing pains from the changes. I wouldn't ever see myself returning. If you want to charge prices close to (or even a bit higher) that of Indy or Chicago you must provide that level of service. This while it didn't ruin the night by any stretch of the imagination I do wish I would have made a...
Read moreSo we waited to go until they were open for a few months. The server was great. Sat in the bar area Saturday 6:00 ish. Ordered artichoke dip to compare to applebees...Well chips were great nice and crunchy until we had to return the cold I mean cold dip. Apparently they threw the chips In the microwave with the dip. They came back rubbery and hard. Our server was great she went and got us new ones. Of course fresh ones on the dish they reheated I could tell it's was a reheat because it did not look so pretty once they mixed it up. No sprinkle of cheese we saw before. They only reason we knew the chips were different is we tasted them before she took them back. Hubby was happy with his tenderloin but was not what he expected home made chips were great. I had parmesan spaghetti was okay would have been better with more crunch but was okay. Will we go back. Probably not here but to West on Warren... would be nice if owner responded to review....Ijust noticed that some responses were given but!! Only to positive...
Read moreSunday, we entered about 10 min. after opening. One other table occupied. We ordered onion rings appetizer which came quickly. Our sandwiches and fries did NOT come quickly. We had been seated almost 45 min. by the time our food arrived. It was just ok. Perhaps it was colored by having to wait an extraordinarily long time. Had to ask for our check, and then after 10 min. had to chase down the waitress to give her the $$. Will probably give it another try when the full menu is available. Will not order an appetizer in case that was what slowed...
