I was hoping to find an interesting spot on the bike trail to spend a few minutes but this amazing garden is so beautiful, so interesting and so well kept that it far exceeded my expectations. This is definitely going to be a regular destination for our Pumpkinvine rides! I should mention that our 9 year old girl was excited enough by this place that that we had to drag her away after 25 minutes because us grownups were...

This was an incredible place we just "happened upon" while looking for a nearby park to eat a picnic. The gardens are incredible and it is a great place to go and relax and read as some people were. The gardens and structures have an interesting history. Basically, the plants and structures were used in the 1934 World’s Fair in Chicago as an exhibit and then placed...

What a beautifully maintained and designed garden 🎍. I can understand why this was at the World's Fair 85 years ago. 🤩 I can't imagine the number of people and the amount of time😲 it takes to upgrade and maintain this 👨🏻‍🌾especially after the winter!🌨️❄️🥶 It's charming. I sat in a couple of different places for a half hour or more. The Pumpkinvine bike trail goes right by it.🚲

This is a very cute and neat little park. I was honestly impressed with the items they had from the Worlds Fair here; Lots of photo opportunities here as such. The only thing that made me give this a 4 is simply due to it being a little too small and the fact that half of it is currently under renovation. If I could give it a 4.5 I’d do that for sure.

This is a spot that gets more beautiful each year, and it has an amazing backstory, too. I love to bring my goldendoodle here when it’s too hot to take a walk in my neighborhood. Eight years ago when I had stage 3 cancer, my sister brought me here and managed to get me from the car to a bench — and I could almost feel myself healing.
