I had a very nice early dinner here one evening, and the food was great. Both the flavor and the prices were wonderful. I had the chicken fried steak, and that came with two sides (I chose broccoli cheese soup and mashed potatoes). It was all very flavorful, and the soup really stood out to me as one of the best versions of that flavor I’ve ever had. I also got apricot pie for dessert. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the whole place felt nice and homey. It may be a bit old fashioned, but that really works here. Sometimes nothing needs to change. I’d definitely recommend Village Inn for a nice casual meal.

This is one of the greatest little restaurants you'll ever find! If you want good food and an affordable price this is the place to stop in. The chicken is better than any chicken out of Frankenmuth Michigan, the pie as the wife said was "to die for" and their soups are amazing. If you're passing through this is the place to eat !The staff is awesome, kind and friendly a throwback to the old days when people were nice. Don't miss your opportunity to try an American classic, will definitely return time and time again. God bless your little restaurant.

Wasn’t real hungry so we split a pizza and was pleasantly surprised how good it was, since they didn’t specialize in Italian foods. Couldn’t pass up on the pies after reading how they are all homemade. In fact our pizza was taking awhile to cook so we ordered & ate our pies first, so incredibly delicious!! Definitely want to return next time in town.

My family has been eating at the Village Inn for many years. The food is always good and never had issues with the staff until this week. I met family for dinner and when we went up to the register to pay our checks, the lady at the register began lecturing us on conspiracy theories and other nonsense about the Covid-19 vaccines. Apparently she had been eavesdropping on our conversation during dinner and somehow thought it was her place to interject her unsolicited opinions. This was highly inappropriate and rude behavior by staff. My mother is 87 and had no need to hear this woman's goofball theories and...

This is small town diner at it's best. Local friendly and accommodating staff. My friend asked for an open faced burger topped with a load of chili, shredded cheese and onions. He was served the order as requested with a smile. The clam chowder was good and generous with clams. I ordered a blast from my past, fried mush (crusty on the outside with soft corn meal center) with butter and syrup. The pies are the cherry on top. Homemade and delicious. The diner was busy with local and touristy patrons. The smiling staff a mix of capped Mennonites and t-shirted youth. A great...
