Imperial Garden Middleton — Restaurant in Middleton

I hadn't been here in years, and on a whim decided to stop in. Despite being a group consisting soly of myself, I was alotted a quaint yet comfortable table in a quiet area where I didn't feel out of place sitting by myself.

The waitstaff who greeted me at the door was friendly, welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable.

The food was just as flavourful with good portion size, just as I remember from my prior, albet years ago experience. Even simple Chinese food staples here feel much more fancy and flavourful compared to, frankly, most Chinese food restrants. For example, the fried rice comes with cut pea pods, egg, carrot squares, and some of the tenderest cuts of meat you could imagine. On top of the amazing smell and flavor, this has a visually pleasing experience, in my opinion.

So from here, I will stop making you more hungry and let you go experience some of the best Chinese food, in my opinion.

I will keep this concise. Dont the Chinese have a ship called the Junk? Im 70 now and I know that people go out to have a good time and dont want to screw it up,so they go with the flow,I have many times.That would explain the good reviews.So on a lark I decided to try this highly regarded BBQ duck,$30.00 for the duck alone.These people have no taste.The skin was sloppy and soggy and slathered with sugar (high fructose corn syrup ?)a carcinogen. Im not a little child, I don't want sugar for dinner.When it came time to pay(should I? ) as I inspected my bills,I took too much time for this woman and she GRABBED the new bill out of my hand!the one I wanted. In the western world you do not touch a woman's behind and grab a mans wallet .There are many places to go,by by sugar duck Junk.Furthermore it is logical to assume the food for the restaurant comes from their food store. So I went in and read a lot of the labels.The food supply is just as carcinogenic and polluted as the food from our supply chain. This was like eatting at a cafeteria or buffet . Ordered shrimp ragoons (cuz the had no crab) @ did not come out crispy, or even well stuffed!! Told another waiter (as ours was young and quiet) she brought out new batch. Same thing :-( plus the got one of the orders wrong. But besides all this , their is like no chunky portions of meat. And just slivers! Management was not available so we spoke to bartender. Who insulted us. And we were being very polight. Asked nicely to compensate for the two mishaps. But he said, well i can give your your whole meal free. And that he never heard so much complaints from one meal in 22 yrs.... we got our bill for one meal, that had no meat to speak of. And it was suppose to be subgum three variety. What a joke. After processing we determined this man needed to apologize for the insult and then he agreeded to pay for our meal.. offered to give us cheesecake but we declined.... But honestly it would have been nice to eat a delish meal fit for a imperial ...
