A nice park beside Lake Mendota, Madison, Wisconsin Its a very popular area during Summer days as people are going for Kayaking, boating . Barbecue options are also available, restrooms are also there. Parking is also available. In winter, it has a different look. The lake becomes completely frozen and you can enjoy the same by skiing, walking on the frozen lake.

Great little park to explore, with lots of small trails to hike, and places to sit. Gets a little buggy in the summer, but on a windy day it isn't too bad. There is plenty of parking even for a busy day, and access to the water is plentiful. Docks for little and big boats. Sit on the beach and tan or sit in the shade and have a drink with some friends!

A good place for a quick jaunt and be close to the nature. They also have place to take out your boats or kayaks. The restrooms are closed during winters. Not a lot of area that you can walk around the lake though. A good place to have a picnic during the summer time. A lot of open parking space available. Good time to visit is during summer.

Marshall's is so great. I have the boat membership via Madison Boats and honestly the staff is so incredibly helpful, caring. and friendly. They have got your back whether you are a beginner renter or experienced boater. The lake is beautiful from here and you get a great view of the sailboats. ♡

This is our favorite beach on Lake Mendota. The sand is good for playing in, and the swimming area is mostly sand, with minimal rocks. Vegetation varies, but Madison generally keeps it cut down so there isn't as much. Lots of paddle options for rent. Shade and flush toilets onsite.

Let's face it, Marshall boats is not a secret, but it should be. Spot on Lake Mendota paddle sports. Everyone who works there is so friendly and it's just awesome. Be at that Park and then sit in the water. After you finish your paddle. We'll return again and again
