If you are thinking about wedding rings, we cannot recommend Chalmers Jewelers enough! I am a stickler for detail and ask a billion questions about everything. They happily let me ask away and answered everything thoroughly. Not once did anyone make me feel like I was being annoying. They encouraged me to be exacting because they want the ring to be precisely what you want at the end. You are keeping it forever, after all! My ring was a custom make based off of one I saw online. Their designer, Garrett, made that vision come to life and it was even better than I imagined! I'm still looking at it every day thinking, "Gosh I have a pretty ring!" My fianceé (now wife) wasn't as sure about what she wanted at the start and she went through a few different rings till we found the meteorite ring. Then she knew exactly how she wanted it done. The Chalmers sales staff were super helpful with suggestions and being the go-between for us and the ring manufacturer. They were always on top of things and very quick to get back to us and we really appreciated it! Now she tells me that she loves her ring way more than she thought she ever would. :) Kristyn and Bryan (the bow-tie guy) were the staff we worked with and we just sent them a couple wedding photos! Kristyn was the person who helped us most, but we interacted with Bryan as well. And every time we went into the store, everyone on the staff was super friendly and made us feel incredibly welcome. That was also very important to us as a queer couple. From the designer to the jewelers to the sales people, we were both super impressed and completely satisfied by their work and customer service. We left with our rings feeling like we had new best friends! You can bet that the next time we're thinking of anything jewelry related, we'll be going to them! Oh! And P.S. The white gold and rose gold in my ring are both nickle-free/allergy free. I'm so glad I won't ever have to worry about that being an issue with my ring. My dad had his ring cut off his finger years and years ago. I'm very happy to know my beautiful ring will never cause me problems and I'll get to...
Read moreMy 10 year anniversary is coming up. I was on Chalmers website in morning (surprised how basic it is for 2019) and was able to msg them that I would be stopping in later that day. They did call me left message saying they looked forward seeing me. I got there at that time and I guess who I was assigned to was busy. I looked around for a while. Those people were super happy with them which was nice to hear while I was still waiting. When he got to me it felt rushed. He found a set that was sort like what I was looking for but I didn't love it. It also wasn't exactly what I wanted which he said they could do special order. I asked more than 3 times what cost would be and each time it was brushed off. I understood it would be less I get it would look different. The set was a name brand. I asked to see different options... He told me "I couldn't do any better then that". WHAT DOES THAT even mean! He kept pushing for me to leave my ring and "it" would be taken care of. Never giving me a price on what cost would be. He showed me one other ring after I said you don't have anything ELSE you can show me?? I thought going to a jewelry store would show me options, would work with me to figure out what I wanted. Not this. I told him I was going to keep looking and try different stores. I got up and as I was walking away (mind you he didn't ask to write any of this one and only ring down or do some sort follow up with me)... He muttered under his breath.... I WAS 10 FEET from him. Just no. At that moment I decided to never step foot in that place again. To my surprise he did send me an email with "What do you think?" Guess what? Yup, still no price. By the way what I was looking for was a classic Tiffany look. Plain solitaire band, Pave wedding bands on...
Read moreAfter visiting Chalmers, my girlfriend and I had picked out two engagement rings loving details on both of them but not fully in love with a particular one. About a week later, I received a call from the jewelers informing me that I could customize a ring. I went back into chalmers shortly thereafter and began describing the details that we loved of both rings. They informed me that my ideas would be sent to the designer. A week later I was able to sit down personally with a designer with my ring design on the designer software and it was gorgeous! The ring designer sat in the room with me for a couple hours hearing all my concerns and questions and adjusting the ring accordingly, while maintaining the structure needed to hold the diamond in place. Once we had it perfect, they created a wax so that I could actually hold the ring in my hand, which really allowed me to see the details in person and how they would fit together. After giving the go-ahead on the mold, they created the ring for me. And it turned out so much more perfect than I imagined it would. The whole process was so in detail, and the staff at chalmers cared so much about my thoughts and concerns. I with no hesitation would buy jewelry from chalmers again in the future. I never knew purchasing jewelry could be as enjoyable and rewarding as they...
