Cugini's Pizza — Restaurant in Middletown Township

They make really great taco pizza. Problem is, whenever you order the food over the phone for pickup, they seem to always mess up the order or forget to even start making your food. Unfortunately, it seems like the young girl taking the order may be at fault. Only reason I'm writing this review is because it's now happened on 3 separate occasions. That's ALOT of mistakes for just 1 customer. Unless, I'm just completely unlucky that it only happens to me. I went home with the wrong pizza, my family already started to eat it, then realized not what we ordered, what can you do. Next time, on my way to the car, I opened to check the pizza, and again, it was not what I ordered. This time I didn't touch the pizza, so I walked back in and they made me what I ordered, but I had to wait there for over 20 minutes, food I ordered 30 min before I even got there. Yesterday, I again showed up 30 min after I ordered to pick up but it seems they forgot my order. I waited 20 min sitting there for it. You always get a "Sorry bout that.". I'm not looking for apologies, they're meaningless if it happens over and over. Why even bother calling it in. It would be better off, walking in and ordering it face to face. This whole deal sucks because we really do like the taco pizza, but it's getting harder to justify reordering from there and dealing with the frustration of it all. This will get an auto response asking how they can do better and how they strive. Blah, blah..... Either speak to your employees and make sure they understand to take the job more seriously or hire new people. This kind of thing...

We moved to the area 2 years ago and once we discovered this little gem we've never gone elsewhere for our 'take-out' nights. Every item I have ever ordered off of their menu has always arrived at our house piping hot and is absolutely DELICIOUS. Appy's, salads, soups, pizza, entrees, wraps/sandwiches. Never ordered something I didn't absolutely LOVE. Never an issue with a wrong order. Most recently, we had them cater our wedding. EVERYONE was blown away by their amazing food. We ordered trays of: mussels, eggplant rollotini, calamari, chicken francese and marsala, penne vodka & sausage and peppers. Timing of their arrival was perfect and everything arrived steaming hot. Our guests couldn't stop going up for 2nds and 3rds and they kept complimenting how yummy every dish was. Regarding cost - I believe they are VERY reasonably priced.

Only down side: The interior decor isn't very appealing if you are interested in dining in. I would say this is strictly a take-out/pick-up type of place. If they were ever to renovate the inside, we would be there on a...

The worst yet. Not that Jersey Shore should ever be recognized for good cuisine but the only good part about spending $30 on this meal was tipping the driver. I believe a Philly CheeseSteak SHOULD USE REAL FRACKING CHEESE not Kraft singles congealed yellow oil they pass as cheese. Yellow fake cheese on a Philly? By the looks of this sandwich, I imagine zombified stoned teenagers slapping sandwiches together. I just took another bite just to reconfirm the blandness of this $10 "blandwich" and every chew infuriates me. Man, i wish i could take a picture of this "drunk tank worthy" attempt at food.

Let's talk about the salt... I mean soup. I literally had to had equal parts water to make it edible. The good news is you can make 3 servings of soup from just one by adding enough water. The better news is you won't lose any flavor by doing so because there was none to begin with.

Do better Vicci. Stop overcharging the hard working public for mediocrity.
