Seriously where can I start or how could I describe this place. You might think I am over exaggerating but this is literally and absolutely the worst restaurant you will ever go to in Midland. Possibly in the entire United States. The worst customer service you will ever experience. Costumer service has no existence in this so called restaurant. I ordered food to go and I was directed to sit at a table and wait. No drinks whatsoever were provided while I was waiting. I began to notice people who came after me were getting ignored a while but what caught my attention is that they were getting served food before me?. I waited approximately 20-30 minutes. I was falling asleep. I asked the waiter how long will it take for my order which was just 5 tacos. She literally spoke to me with an attitude and said she doesn't know? She couldn't go check ? Then 10 minutes (40 minutes total wait) later I ask her again if it is almost done because I've been waiting for too long and she said it should take 10 minutes. At that time I was really irritated but I figured I'd just wait 10 minutes rather leaving and going through the ordering process and waiting at a different restaurant. 20 minutes later i asked a random waiter to check on my food and she totally ignored me. Finally I decided to go ask the cashier if the food is ready or not because I was fixing to leave. The food was given to me. An hour and 15 minutes total wait. No apologies for the wait or anything. She simply did not give an f. Just on her phone. Her attitude changed as I was fixing to pay. I figured she wanted a tip but quit honestly She did not even deserve a single penny. It seems like there is only one guy who works there. He is the cook, then some teenager who picks up the dishes and 3 4 cute looking waitress who are pretty much good for nothing but to collect tips. I would have asked to speak to the manager but I figured this is probably a family owned business. The workers are trash so the manager as well. Just leave and never come back again. I am really surprised how this trash got high ratings. I truly am. It tells you not to trust google reviews all the time. And the food is your typical microwave beans and rice. You could taste the cold/warm...
Read moreThis place and this experience us been the worst in ANY restaurant in Midland. Me and my family were sitting waiting for over 15 minutes until a waitress finally showed up to take our drink orders, we were ready to order so everybody order their meals, later again after another long waiting finally we had chips and salsa.....we were very hungry, no one went back to our table to at least let us know if our meals were taking longer, after 1 hour of waiting we all decided to leave, I asked another girl if they were having trouble in the kitchen with not enough people cooking then I spotted our waitress just standing there doing nothing, my son told me that she started laughing and making fun of us and she screamed at the kitchen crew to not to fix our meals...I don't think I will ever go there again, also I don't know why restaurants have their music so loud, we have to be screaming in order to have a conversation and everybody is screaming so as soon as you enter that place it's loud. We decided to go to Abuelo's and had our meals with a very professional and respectful service and in a matter of minutes we all were eating our meals. I have to rate this place and have to choose stars, they should have a zero to press because 1 star seems too much for a...
Read moreWe live in NM. We were in Midland, TX for a funeral. We ended up dining at Garely's for breakfast lunch and dinner. (As a retired; Fine-Dining-Restaurant-Manager; my test is: do the employees take pride in their job?) From the front door, to the table, the bar and even the cleanliness of the restrooms; Garely's employees, DEFINITELY know that they are part of a top-notch, Bar and Restaurant. Every employee was courteous and enthusiastic. "Oli" is our favorite server. My only suggestion, would be to offer the enchiladas, "New Mexico-Style". In NM, we SMOTHER our enchiladas w/ hot-shredded cheese, on top of the meat and red or green sauce. (Garley's/"Tex-Mex", red and green sauces are more tart than NM sauces; however, the tart-ness was a delicious surprise.) The Green Chilie Rellenos can compete w/ NM restaurants. The complimentary salsa, is addictive. It's not fine dining...but I have to...
