Tabascos Mexican Restaurant and Seafood — Restaurant in Midland

The food is average, we ordered a Caldo Combinado and had 99% shrimp and one single piece of octopus, the other dish ordered was OK, they offer free beer (2 per guest), NOTE: Clamatos are $15 and a glass with Iime & salt is $10, there's a catch, our waiter only came to our table once to check up on us and that was to bring our ticket and let us know they will be closing and needed to close up our check. Our plates for the appetizers we put them aside at the table next to us because they were never picked up and we were a bit limited in space on our table. Seemed like the owner(s) were there by the bar just doing their own thing instead of paying attention to their guests at their restaurant ensuring service it's at their best. Think about coming here, there might be better...

Well wasn't bad at first till we started ordering. Tried to order a beer and our server told us that they didn't have a permit to sell so it had to be in a cup and mixed with clamato. Well that ended being a glass of clamato and roughly 5 ounces of Michelob ultra ( which was told the only beer they had) and came to just under 15 dollars a piece. Well the being only beer they have and can't serve in bottle ended up being a lie because the table behind us had dos xx in a bottle. Ordered the ceviche which I enjoy the shrimp was still raw( yes I know how ceviche is cooked in lemon juice but your shrimp are not suppose to be out translucent gray((raw)) ). Killed appetite after that. Never...

We were excited to experience this restaurant together as a family, unfortunately it ended with us walking out. They sat us down and after a little while of looking over the menu they brought some chips and salsa. Then we just sat there and sat there. We sat there for about half an hour and still... no one came to take our drink order. It would have not been such a big issue but I noted other tables that just got seated receiving their drinks with 5 mins.
