So we attempted to make large order online today for mother's day so I wouldn't have to cook. When I pulled up to the building, there was a worker sitting on the counter and it took them five minutes to even open and respond at the window. We ordered a sixteen piece meal, however, the worker that answered the window that was sitting on the counter, told me that their cook did not show up so they had no chicken. The cashier did offer to replace my meal with the only remaining fourteen pieces of chicken strips that had been sitting there since noon when the other worker walked out!! I explained to them that that was not an even trade for a sixteen piece mill, that was fifty, something dollars. The cashier then stated, ma'am, I don't know what you want me to do.I'm only a cashier here. I asked for a manager which I was given a dirty look before the guy says, ma'am, you can cancel your order or you can take what we have. At first I had responded that it may benefit my family to go ahead and take the food... then another boy walked up and started playing loud rap music on a JBL speaker , in the middle of my conversation to tell them that I did not want to take my order.I would like to cancel it. Both of the guys were very ugly and disrespectful in the way they were speaking. This is not my first bad experience with this store.But with what all happened on mother's day of all days, i decided that I would go ahead and share my experience. The manager of this store truly needs to walk in to see what's going on!!! I have never experienced such poor service in my life! And especially when I didn't even get any food for my family for tonight. Hopefully I'll get my money back. But I seriously doubt it.. i guess the ultimate point of my story is, do not go to this restaurant. It definitely needs a serious cleanup. First of all, the guy in front of me was on his phone asking someone (probably his wife or gf, what to order) he takes his time ordering & then after waiting for 10 minutes in line for him to finish, he has the nerve to push his way infront of me while I'm ordering & almost knock us out of the way, to make sure that they understood his order! Keep in mind that I have my 2 children with me and I don't want to cause a scene. The cashier should have told him to step back & wait!! So, we get our food fairly quickly & I get home and one of the large Coleslaw's I ordered is missing. I check the receipt and I was charged for it! This is the second time that sides have been missing from our orders at the Midland Drive, Midland TX location. The store is under staffed & it doesn't seem like it's managed very well. I love KFC & occasionally Taco Bell, but my husband has already said that he won't go back to either locations because he was told after waiting 20 minutes, that because he ordered Original Recipe that he would have to wait longer! We said dine in but they gave us our food in bags. Itās ok I didnāt want to eat there either way. Not to mention we seen a girl close the lobby at 8:50 when it closes at 10. While we ate our food in the parking lot we seen the same girl come out for a smoke break and then I guess cause we were out there she went back inside which I thought she had turned off her cigarette but I was wrong she was still smoking it while being inside.
