7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Midlothian

I was just in Myrtle Beach with my family for a couple of weeks and my sister harassed me into finally trying a 7 Brew. I’m so glad she did! I LOVE the iced cinnamon bun coffee and immediately searched for a nearby location when I arrived home. So, with my bf and son in tow, we ventured to the Midlothian location. Understandably, with the opening of any new food or beverage joint with a lively atmosphere, it’s going to be busy. Also, being new, the staff need some time to learn and build muscle memory for their job. With that being said, our order was taken pretty quickly, but then we waited what seemed like forever, behind a car trying to get their order. It was unfortunate for us that the AC in the car was temporarily out of commission and we were in the outside lane with nowhere to escape the sun. During that time an employee was walking in between the drive thru lanes asking who had ordered a drink he had in his hand. But like I said, I wasn’t going to count any of these first days blunders against them. Eventually, we make it to the person to get our drinks. After waiting and waiting, getting the wrong drinks and giving them back, we get some and go - just wanting to be in motion to get some air flow. In my hasty exit, I realize these are not the medium drinks we ordered, but smalls. Despite the size, with grand anticipation I sip my drink and its…. Milk. So, so bad. My bf had some random blue drink that he had eventually just taken to move on. He wasn’t a fan. My son was in the back sucking down his chocolate milkshake like a champ. So, I spent $23 on 3 small drinks, two of which, were failures and tossed. I tried to call, but it’s the headquarters and they don’t return phone calls. I really wanted a refund for at least the two. Anyway, I am actually heading back now to give them a second chance and see if this past weekend was just a fluke. Wish me luck. One last thing, I HATEHATEHATE when placed stop what they are doing to show you the tablet for a tip. So tacky. I have waited tables. I busted my butt for tips and now everyone thinks they are entitled to one for doing their basic job. I just...

I saw that 7 brew opened up from mutual friend so I decided to try it. The first day I went it was very busy, but they were very quick. The guy was very helpful because obviously I hadn’t been there before and they don’t have like a menu posted outside you drive up and the person will ask you what you want for your order. The guy was kind enough to give me they have like a paper menu And that way I can choose what I want because they have a lot of options. I decided to go with the cold brew with cream and vanilla and then I got there cold foam on the top and it’s delicious. I appreciate that it’s not as sweet as like Starbucks or any of the other coffees. I haven’t gone to Starbucks in a long time just for political reasons so it’s nice to have another option. I also like that you give them your phone number and they sign you up for their rewards program but they can also see what you order the previous time. I went and the girl was super nice And she got my phone number and locked me in and I was like are you able to see what I ordered last time and she said yes and then I said I wanted the same thing but is there anyway to make it a little bit sweeter, and so she gave me some options and made sure that I tried the drink before I left to make sure it was perfect.
