Arby's — Restaurant in Midlothian

I only gave 2 stars because the food is good! I initially had stopped going to this location as the young lady working the counter would not give me at least 1 packet of Arby's sauce during the end of the Covid pandemic. I understand there were supply chain issues during this time and I explained I just needed 1 per sandwich and at that time she threw a couple packets at me. I vowed to never go back. I decided why let one person's actions prevent me from going to the place I loved to eat and actually worked at one as a teen. So starting around October 2022 I decided to start taking my autistic daughter there for dinner almost every Friday. Everything had been going pretty well. Only complaints were slow to get food when it did not seem that busy. I do understand it has been difficult for companies to stay staffed as I am a corporate employee and have the same constraints. Then today I was just shocked. I am in line to order and it's taking awhile, no big deal. Then I finally make it to the counter and one of the managers hollers to the young man at the counter to not take any orders for 10 minutes. My litlle girl gets antsy at times, but she is patiently waiting as i wait the 10 minutes to have my order taken. During this time I hear them saying just focus on the drive though. At this time I had endured enough and we walked out. To my suprise there was only 1 car at the window and one pulling up to order. This locaton needs a total restaffing. The money spent remodeling would have been better spent on staffing and training. I see this locaton going down the hill. I think it is the late night truckers keeping the place alive as it is 24 hours and located in a Luv's truck stop. Please do better as i doubt I will make the same...

I just wanted to say, I’ve been going here quite often lately at like 6-630am. And most of the time there is just one worker there. His name is Hector, he has always had a smile and a very nice attitude. He works very very hard and I believe that he should be recognized for being an outstanding person!!! He is usually very very busy this time of the morning he works there overnight but he always gets it done and I know that it’s always going to be with a good vibe. Starts someone’s day off great!!! Even though I really wished they would schedule him some help so it’s not all on him. I couldn’t imagine doing it all alone like that but he’s never complained he’s always happy.!!! So Thank you Hector, for all your hard work and starting my day off with a great attitude!!! I do appreciate you!! And the food is always hot and fresh. I usually order breakfast menu, and the lunch menu!! I love having a choice on breakfast or lunch. Cause my family are always on different shifts and some get off work at 7 am. Of course they love the classic roast beef and cheddar and curly fries, and some of us are getting the day started so we love breakfast wraps and sausage biscuits with hash browns. I came here wanting to try the new gyro and was very disappointed by the non service I received.The little 4ft midget Hispanic bish would not even acknowledge my presence or take my order. I stood there in front of the cash register for at least 3-4 minutes.She act like she was working drive through and talking to another employee avoiding looking at me but she saw me and pretended not to see me.I’m a black male truck driver with 30 years experience all I can say is arbys do better in hiring and maintaining your employee’s.These little racist misfits will cost you customers and businesses in future as drivers have microwaves and air fryers and refrigerators in their trucks and do not need your services anymore.Check your cameras and fire these ungrateful idiots. I use seek Mexican restaurants for authentic Mexican food when in Texas not anymore,now I go out of my way to avoid Mexican food because of racist service and low quality food.
