I came inside this morning at 7:30 and everyone, save one person, looked like they were super sad to be at work. Emily started taking my order and was not nice. No good morning how are you or anything. She literally just stood there until I asked her if I could go ahead and order. After giving her my order I asked if I could pay part cash and part card. She replied swipe your card. So I did, I was trying to finish off a Visa gift card I had received. There wasnt enough to pay for the whole order on the card and I explained that to her and asked if she needed to press into her screen that I was paying $4.84 is card. She said no so I swiped my card and it was declined (obviously because her computer was trying to run the entire order amount not just the 4.84 left on the card. So after 2 more attempts of explaining this to her I just paid in cash. Coffee was part of my order with 4 creams and 5 sugars. I watched her put in 2 pumps of cream and I pump of sugar. I said something and she said it would surely be sweet enough and creamy enough like she has prepared it. At this point I just wanted my food and my coffee and to leave. So I waited on my food and then left. Upon returning to my car (because the tables inside were sticky and dirty ... ALL of them) I attempted to eat the food. I say attempted because the hash brown was greasy and limp and the biscuit was so hard that I had to throw half of it away.
It is like this 80% of the time I come to this McDonalds. So I won't be returning here. I would suggest you not come here, even if you're traveling on I-64 and very hungry. Twelve miles west is Frankfort and that McDonalds is much cleaner with nicer people and actual...

Went through the drive through on 8/17/25. Ordered a big country breakfast, basically a big breakfast with a side of gravy. An extra order of hashbrowns, and a large coke. Pulled forward, paid for my food, got my drink, and was asked to pull forward, that they would bring my food out, not uncommon, and I pulled forward.
Sat, sat, sat, and sat some more. I counted 17 other cars that came through behind me, got their food, and went on their way. Checked my receipt, I ordered at 9:18am. At 9:39am they finally brought me my food. TWENTY-ONE minutes! I didn't order anything that wasn't a standard menu item, nothing special, and it took TWENTY-ONE minutes for them to get my food to me.
And of course, when I got home I found that I didn't get my extra order of hashbrowns despite it being on the receipt and having been paid for.
Quite possibly my worst McDonalds experience ever. I live in Midway and I want to support the local businesses, but it will be a long time before I return to...
Read moreOrdered a Big Mac with a little extra sauce. I got a 1/4 of a cup. Took a bite my mouth was on fire. Not special sauce. As is often the case the midway McDonaldâs is shorstaffed and they have incredible employees but the manager Shauna locked the doors at 845 instead of 10 without a sign so I went in the open back door. She was not concerned about the sandwich was though looking at it she said itâs hot sauce. But was threatening to call the police. go ahead they can taste it. Didnât even address the issue but I as more concerned I came thru an official door. The management stinks because the owners either donât pay them enough money because they consistently are short handed. Other McDonaldâs as in Versailles have employees that used to work there. When thereâs a problem at the bottom level in this case look at the owners. ...
