Walter Bradley Park — Attraction in Midway

Its a very scenic, quiet, explorable place.😂😄 My husband brought me and the 2 youngest (7 & 9) and we didnt know where to get started! There is a kiosk with maps but its very plain and not every trail is on the map. There are so many more trails than 1 or 2! Seriously! It definitely could use a little more advertising like where to park? If you can park there? A porta potty would be nice.😂😄 There's a lot of different areas to choose from as well, like if you go in towards the dog park there's a meadow that would be perfect for a family to have a picnic. There's 1 picnic table I saw not sure if theres more? Its kinda big place. Benches, small bridges. Or after you drop the kids off at school grab your coffee, a book, a blanket! There's lots of possibilities!! Even if you have small children its a perfect place to let them explore outside safely. The trails or the main trails have mulch on them and your not gonna get lost if you wonder a few feet. Some of the trees have strings of twinkle lights wrapped around them! I bet it looks amazing at dusk! I gave 4 stars for lack of facilities (restroom, parking, water, maps) and you need a more detailed map. Other than that its Awesome!! Its very well taken care of and maintained...

I took my family here for the 4th of July celebration. We had a great time. We did not have use for it, but the park has a big dog run that seems like it would be great if you have a pooch. My 7-year-old absolutely loved the playground and asked if we could move to town just so he could use it all the time. The celebration was fun and attracted a large crowd, and I can see why it is a big event for the town on 4th of July. I do not think I will be moving here just for the park anytime soon, but I will definitely be...

I think this park was a quiet gem. It’s has short trails so I walked them several times. It feels like being in a story book when walking by the creek/stream that runs by the trail. It is a nice place for an evening stroll after work. The creek trail also has a branch that connects to the back of the library. The paddock trail is a bit like an arboretum with labeled tree specimens which I enjoyed as I am not native to this area. There is also a nice ice cream shop in the downtown area that is close...
