Food was great. 3 of my friends and I were here for a semi-annual catch up. My friend who arrived first, who has many years in the service industry, requested a patio table to enjoy the beautiful weather. They said the empty tables (many at that point) were all reserved, but they could put us in a booth. The booth was lovely but also designed to hold 6-8 people, much larger than what we required.

We ordered the chicken tinga nachos, Margherita pizza, and pepperoni hot honey pizza. 3 of the 4 of us had 2 cocktails each. The food and drinks were excellent!

Unfortunately the service was not. Our server was clearly annoyed that we didn't scarf our food immediately and leave. She was curt, impatient, and snarky. She rolled her eyes both times and snapped at us if we needed anything else. The manager came by once, then another time, then finally a third time and said they need the booth for a reservation so we had to leave or go to...get this...a patio table, which we'd requested in the first place! These 5 visits all happened within 15 minutes and were very passive aggressive. Meanwhile, there were a ton of tables open at that point after the happy hour crowd cleared out. We were polite, left a good tip, and left, but likely won't be back.

Reading through the reviews, it seems like they need to figure out the reservation process. It's honestly a bit odd that they place so much value on reservations when it's just a normal pub atmosphere. They treat customers who are present rudely while turning people away and chasing others off to...

We visited the restaurant on Sunday afternoon and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The host was unwelcoming and came across as quite rude. When I mentioned our party included 8 people and a baby, he curtly replied, “so 9 people.” I clarified that the baby wouldn’t be eating or needing a seat.

We requested a standard table since we had a 2-year-old, but were told that only a high-top table was available because we didn’t have a reservation. We accepted that and were seated, but it took another 10–15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us and only after we went back to the host stand to ask for service. Several servers walked past our table without greeting us, while three employees at the host stand were chatting with each other and seemed unaware that guests were waiting for attention.

We were eventually offered a few complimentary appetizers, which was appreciated, but by that point the experience had already soured. Warm, attentive service would have gone much further than free food. Our server was kind, but she seemed overwhelmed and struggled to keep the table cleared, even though the restaurant was not busy.

To make matters worse, we noticed several open standard tables available during our meal, which made it unclear why our group couldn’t have been seated there. Overall, the experience was disappointing, especially since we were there to celebrate a birthday. The staff lacked friendliness and hospitality, leaving us questioning how such attitudes fit within the...

We absolutely LOVE highbanks but we had a ROUGH experience for Mother’s Day today. We arrived checked in for our reservation and waited for about 10 minutes before the hostess asked what our name was again l and if the reservation was for this location. And it was.

We got sat shortly after that and no server showed up. After 15 minutes, We had to ask the hostess and she sent one over.

We ordered drinks , an appetizer and meals for our kids. It was another 20 minutes before the server (Ben) showed up without both the drinks or the appetizers or food. One of the managers (a blonde woman) offered to comp our appetizer for the trouble.

He asked if we wanted to place dinner orders, and we did and then proceeded to wait another 5 or so minutes before the drinks showed up. And another 10-15 minutes before one of our kids meals showed up. (Which had about 6 fries on the plate and was missing her requested sauce)

Ben our server showed back up the table and said somehow our entrees disappeared from the tablet and we needed to re order them. I literally wasn’t sure what to say

Our dinners took at least 35 minutes to come out (and we still never got the other kids meal-which was a side of fries)

We asked for those fries when our meals came and it still took another 15 minutes for them to show up. The bill reflected the compt appetizer but we ended up paying for both sides of fries which we in my mind we shouldn’t have.

Our reservation was for 12:45 and we didn’t leave the...

What a disappointment. As professional foodies and reviewers we had high hopes for high bank but they missed the mark completely. We started with the chicken wings which were undercooked and rubbery although the sauce was very flavorful. ( The wings were not cooked to order but rather taken from a warmer and sauced then sent out). We also had the crispy brussel sprouts which were the highlight of our meal. For our entrees we had the orange Asian salad with chicken and the spicy chicken sandwich with bravo potatoes. The chicken on our salad and the sandwich were extremely overcooked (check out my pictures to see ) and the potatos were very bland needing salt pepper to even being edible. We were sat in the patio and it started raining. We moved into the bar and was told that we had to cash out with our server and start a new ticket with the bartenders. ( Our server never asked us how our food was and took our card and tip as fast as possible and left us at the bar) The bar tenders didn't show much interest in us or our meals and taking care of us the remainder of our meal. Overall we were very disappointed in this experience. The restaurant the building are so aesthetically pleasing but the service and the food are a huge disappointment 😔

We had dinner here. One thing I noticed off the bat—it is very loud! And it wasn’t even full. I like their cocktail offerings—interesting, creative and seasonal. I had the blackberry sage. I was hoping it was a martini ( like Cameron Mitchell’s) but it was a tall drink over ice—very pretty! We started by sharing the BLT Caesar, which was very good—nice and colorful presentation. Then I had the grilled cheese—upscale and gooey with arugula and bacon jam (I had a hard time eating it because it kept falling apart). It came with a dipping sauce that was yummy, but I don’t know what was in it. I used it for my sandwich and fries. The fries were so good—lightly battered, crispy, and creamy inside. These were some of the best fries I’ve ever had! My husband ordered the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza—he liked it a lot, but wished the honey was hotter (he likes hot pepper flakes on his pizza). We sat at the bar and 3 different people waited on us, but everyone was nice and attentive. I can’t wait for the new HBD to open next year in Westerville!
