I'm a truck driver and I always try to stop here when I can. I love the Indian bread taco, I get it every time. I make my own tortillas (via mazza flower of course and they explained to me how to make authentic Indian bread, as well as sopapillas, which was really nice of them). Little slow. Deal with it, it's worth it. I don't understand the few bad reviews. I've never had a bad experience. The girls are young, and again yes, a little slow, and they do sometimes get really busy. But they are happy, upbeat, (and pretty) usually smiling unless busy or distracted and are very friendly. The salsa, red, may be less hot than the green, but it's hot. I can't take too much hot but the flavor is so good that I eat it anyway and even order some on the side to take with me occasionally. And I'm a salsa connoisseur. It's not the best in the world no, but it's damn good. Don't go in if you're in a rush, it'll just ruin the place for you and then you'll miss out on a good meal because you won't go back. But if you have the time to sit, maybe have a conversation, relax and enjoy a meal the way they're supposed to be eaten, then this place is pretty damn good. I think people forget that the world doesn't revolve around them and that not everybody likes things the way they do, and they also forget that that's okay, for those people, probably not the place for you. And for those that don't know because they can't be bothered to take the time to learn, Mexican culture in general is more relaxed and laid-back then rushed in nature, especially when it comes to meals and or social settings. This is especially true in smaller towns and rural areas. So if you're looking for fast food, this isn't it. And why the hell would anyone go to a Mexican restaurant and order burgers? Especially when you can get one out of the heat box at the Love's across the street. Or the McDonald's down the road. That to me is...
Read moreWell, this place has pretty good food. They charge for chips and salsa, and the salsa was good. We got fried bread, that was good. Fried indian taco was ok, and the birria taco was good. The place was warm inside, like sitting outside. No one greeted us, and I had to ask if we sat ourselves. Our waitress was negligent on her service with us. I had to go to the counter to remind them for our drinks and salsa and chips (that we pay for). Once we got our food, the waitress never came back to offer refills. No customer service. The young lady that was the cashier looked as if her top lip stank, she needs to be put in the back way back. I'm not talking about the taller, slim young lady. We did not leave a tip because it was very bad service. Since we didn't get refills, we asked for to go cokes, and they wanted to charge 3.50 for each. We told...
