This is legit country cooking! I know alot of times I read reviews then go and the food will taste like it came out of a can with a little extra seasonings. These folks know how to cook. I know most people brag about breakfast, which is next on my list, but their plate lunch I got today tasted so good. I got the Thursday special. Fried porkchops, fried potatoes with onion, cabbage and purple hull peas plus fresh blackberry cobbler for dessert. I think it was the best fried porkchop Ive ever ate. I cut it with a fork. The vegetables were spot on. I told the lady at the register all I needed now was some homegrown tomatoes and she said wait just a minute and went to the back and came back with some freshly sliced. Ive been having alot of stomach issues and haven't been eating alot at all. I have got pretty picky and rarely eat fast food. I came from a family of 7 kids and my mom could make anything taste good and this is one of the best meals I have had in awhile. Can't wait to try the Wednesday special, white beans with ham hocks, cornbread with veggies, and the breakfast. Plus they open at 3am I believe I read....

Great hole in the wall diner! I've only had breakfast there a few times, but the breakfast is like a home cooked breakfast. Its great and the prices are great as well! The Service is great, its a small town atmosphere where its like everyone knows one another even though they dont know you. Very friendly. The only downside is the lack of space due to it being in an old historical building that only seats around 30 people+or -. So you want to try this place you better get there early...
