Huddle House — Restaurant in Milan

My family loves going to huddle house and this location has been the best I’ve went to so far. The food was great, the service was top notch (definitely on their A-game), staff was super friendly and quick to get us taken care of (especially with several kiddos in tow). If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Even the shift manager came to my table to make sure we weren’t lacking for anything. I believe her name was Jeri…Anyway, I noticed during our visit in Milan, Tn, that this same lady was not only juggling one job but multiple jobs… she’d been the shift supervisor, the server, and the cook, yet, not once did she fail to greet each customer with a smile or check on every single person in the entire restaurant routinely. I’ve been in the food industry myself when I was younger and that woman right there needs major recognition!!! She was killing it! Honestly, all the staff that day was giving it 300%! Jeri has by far got to be the most precious, hardest working person I’ve ever encountered at any huddle house location that I’ve been to in the last 7 years!

Jeri, if you’re out there and you read this….you are an amazing person, waitress, supervisor, and employee, and you along with all of your staff deserve a VERY...

Having done restaurant work in my younger years, I must commend ur staff on duty last Tuesday night, March 7, 2023. The service was outstanding!!! And, I was amazed with my food order. Normally, when I order ham/ cheese omelette with no cheese. Not only do I have to send it back do to it having cheese, ( I'm very allergic to dairy), I also have to deal with dirty looks from cooks and then try to eat an omelette soaked in grease. Needless to say, I leave still hungry on those times. Stephanie, ( hope I got her name right....) was quite attentive with not just myself, but all her customers. She has such a friendly down home personality that comes naturally from her heart making each customer feel right at home If I'm not mistaken, Steve was cooking that night. And my order was delivered by himself. (Stephanie and Steve were only two on duty. They had each other's back like clockwork!!!) Manners came natural to both employees. And, personally, whatever they're paid is not enough for being the only two on duty to run what should b at least a 4 to 5 person's show.

Me and my wife ordered breakfast on Doordash, and the food came an hour late, the wait time said 20 to 30 minutes. The door dash driver was excellent and extremely nice about the whole thing. They didn't start cooking our order till the driver arrived. We only live 4 minutes up the road. When our food did arrive we was missing a waffle out of the waffle platter that was ordered. We called huddle house and the woman who answered was rude and her excuse for not having the waffle was "we are very busy and tried to get the order out soon as possible". That's not an excuse for sub par service. She said " well what do you want? I can credit you for a waffle if thats what you want." Theres no reason to get an attitude with a customer who didnt get what they paid for. I always said I would never be a kevin/karen but this is ridiculous. If huddle house sees this and wants to reply to this review, I don't want your apologies or a "sorry we missed the opportunity to serve you". Just train your workers better and maybe treat your workers better so they have more incentive to do...
