Honestly I am so beyond words disappointed. This spot used to be my FAVORITE! idk what has happened these last few months but the service, sanitation, overall EVERYTHING has gone downhill. my boyfriend and i stopped in for our usual dumpling house meal. soup dumplings, bbq pork buns, random choice of another dumpling order and some lo mein. easy peasy simple. 1st, the soup dumplings HAD NO SOUP. 2nd. we ordered house special lo mein and received pork lo mein. when i told the server and i did mention its absolutely no big deal just want to make sure our bill was fixed. she turns to blame my boyfriend and said well no he ordered pork as if i didnt hear the order i was like um no he didn’t we ordered the house special it is no big deal, again. just wanted the bill changed. but then some child of theirs says OMG WHATS THAT?! IS THAT A COCKROACH?! IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DINING ROOM!!!!! I’m floored and disgusted gotta leave asap. i go to look for my server, long behold apparently sunday family dinner is held in your own business and it means ignore customers? so i had to call out for my own check because i was being ignored. used to frequent this place atleast 2-3 times a month and highly recommended it to lots. i’ll be taking them all back and will no longer be coming here. floored, disgusted and flabbergasted is beyond what words...
Read moreDumpling House in Milford, CT has become a family favorite for us. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the service is outstanding. But what really sets Dumpling House apart is the delicious food.
Our family has several favorite menu items that we can't resist ordering each time we visit or order takeout. The pork soup dumplings are always a must-have - the broth is rich and flavorful, and the dumplings themselves are perfectly cooked. We also love the sesame noodles, which are a great balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors.
Another favorite is the General Tso's chicken - it's crispy, not too sweet, and has just the right amount of spice. And if you're a fan of seafood, the salt and pepper shrimp is a must-try. The shrimp are perfectly cooked, and the seasoning is just right.
Overall, we highly recommend Dumpling House for anyone looking for authentic and delicious Chinese cuisine. The food is always fresh, and the flavors are outstanding. Whether you dine in or order takeout, the efficient and friendly service makes for a...
Read moreThe best Chinese (Szechuan) restaurant I’ve found in Connecticut and is up there with places I’ve been all over the US and Europe. They have a very authentic menu as well as Americanized favorites. The staff is always very friendly. You can tell they use fresh ingredients as everything I’ve had there has been amazing. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but don’t let that fool you. Come in, order, and eat and enjoy. You won’t be let down.
Update from 17 May 2023
I can’t stress enough how amazing this place is. We’ve become regulars and have tried a wide array of their dishes and they’re all equally exceptional. The owner is one of the nicest people you could meet as well and you can tell she takes pride in what she does and truly enjoys it. I would rate this restaurant 6 out of 5 stars if I could. It really is at the top of my list for restaurants in CT. It’s as unassuming and unpretentious as it can be and delivers 100% time and time again. This...
