I couldn't have loved this place more than I did. The pizza is VERY New Haven. It has the crispy crust, the char, and the chewiness that defines the style. The atmosphere is down to earth, classic joint. Not fancy or trendy but exactly what you want from an old school pizza joint. Staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Because this is a New Haven adjacent spot, I'll give a quick comparison to the other offerings in town. For one, the price was an absolute shock. $18 for a large pie compared to $30 from the big name places. Though, if I'm honest, it wasn't quite on the same level as Sally's or Frank's. By comparison, the sauce lacked a little something and it probably needed a little more salt. But that's if I'm being very nitpicky. All told I'd still as good if not better than Modern. And regardless, for $18 this is a remarkable pizza and eaily the best bang for your buck I've seen in the tri-state area. Highly, highly recommended.

Arguably one of the best pizza places in Milford! I know everyone has their favorite, it may or may not be one of the famed pizza places in New Haven, but if your looking for some of the best Apizza in Milford, you can find it at Jimmy’s Apizza. Yes, the crust always turns out a little charred, and yes, that’s exactly the way it’s supposed to be! iykyk Yes, the parking can get a little cramped on a busy night, but one taste of that pizza will make you not care if you have to make a nine-point turn to get out. And also yes, the service is always fantastic! I’ve never had to wait more than 15 minutes to get my favorite piping hot Apizza. And the staff has always been friendly and courteous. Bottom line is this, we could litigate all day about who has the best pizza in Milford, but if you’re ready to eat, pick up the phone or take ride to Jimmy’s Apizza, you won’t regret it!

These pies reminded me of why I came to L-O-V-E pizza/apizza,... The smell coming out of the box, the crust,...sauce was buttery & perfect match for the cheese that was creamy good. Toppings were chunky & delicious,... Olive oil brushed crust... We forgot to ask for fresh garlic or garlic oil tho Total symphony of deliciousness,...😋 Friends said it passed the "cold test",...🤓("cold test",...??? Thought it was the "morning after party test" 😆) Mos Def going back for more,...!!! It's another option! Especially if you're hungry for pizza on a Monday! Patio dining & take-out were our options,... We grabbed to go...

Jimmy's is our favorite pizza place. We don't care that delivery isn't available. We will drive from 14 minutes away, passing several pizza places and convenience food options. Jimmy's pizza is the absolute best. We love the thin crust, the abundant toppings, and Foxon Park Sodas. Eating in is amazing when we can...not because the charming Beatles and Rock n Roll inspired decor but because we get to experience the crust as it is meant to be. It's crisp and so pleasantly chewy. It's not a heavy bite, just a perfectly crisped bottom to support the sauce and toppings that we love. We are Jimmy's fans and will. Anytime our out of state family visits, we have to eat here at least once. New Haven style pizza is alive and well and delicious at...
