Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Millcreek Township

Rita's is great! Literally my favorite place in town to get great Italian Ice and Custard! Minutes away from my work, I typically will sneak down after a long day to grab a quick snack or will even drive across town on the weekends! If I had one thing I would have to say is that I have noticed the earlier in the day that I go, the quicker and more sophisticated the service is. I also believe that this is when the owner is there and some of the "main staff". If it is later in the day, sometimes the service is "so, so". I feel like there will sometimes be a line of people waiting and congregations of what seems to be colleagues talking with each other instead of helping the customers. This is simply my observation. I will say though about 9 times out of 10 when I go to Rita's, the service is great! The items are great...

BEWARE, if this is a large cone I would hate to see their small. I typically go to Rita's about 15 times a Summer and I will certainly not be coming back if this doesn't get resolved. The photo shows what a large used to be and what a large is now.

Replying to their reply: If this location is innocent to the sizing changes, why not place a sign up to tell customers that the sizes have been decreased before they are disappointed? Charting the same if not more for much smaller cones and just saying that your hands are tied is a quick way to lose...

It was a very warm afternoon and I went there for the first time with my daughter. I ordered the vanilla custard and found it extremely sweet and rich. I felt the price was reasonable. The interior of the establishment appeared very clean as well as the employees. The interaction between them and the customers could have been more cordial, however they both appeared to be of high school age and that may explain it.
