Abuelos Cocina Mexicana — Restaurant in Millen

We went a little early for dinner around 5pm and were seated within minutes. Our waiter Rafael was very attentive, took the time to answer all of our questions and made sure we were taken care of.

Our food arrived in less that 15 minutes, it was hot and presented well. The Carne Asada was cook perfectly, had great flavor and was tender enough to cut with a fork. The Texas rice was excellent according to my wife. In fact she got one to go as well. (See attached photos….

We were able to carry on a conversation with ease even with the many families with small children that were seated around us.

Cost was just a bit high but that is expected in today’s economy.

This restaurant was hands down the best Mexican restaurant I have eaten in. To start with, it has a really great atmosphere right when you walk in. Every person I spoke to from the Manager to the Hostesses were extremely pleasant and kind.
