El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Millen

My family of 8 came in to eat. Bigger parties can be more difficult so we already knew to be patient. First off, they don’t have drinkable water? How are they even open. My half of the family doesn’t drink soda so that was very upsetting. At least offer bottled water if you know you can’t serve water. Then my wife ordered a michelada and I ordered just a beer but I also got brought a michelada but I assumed the server misunderstood so I just drank it. But then when the food came out both our entrees were wrong so we had to wait for them to get remade. I’m assuming it’s the same owners as El Sombrero because it’s the exact same menu. It even has El Sombrero written on the menu which is a shame because I do enjoy the real el sombrero. And we kept asking for extra napkins and both times she gave us 3 lol why couldn’t we have gotten at least one per head? There’s 8 of us why are we sharing napkins. Anyway the experience wouldn’t have been as horrible if our server was nicer. It’s new so I get that they’re still learning but she was dismissive and you could tell she really didn’t want to be there. The food was great the salsa wasn't too hot. Food came out fresh and hot the service was undesirable the waitress was too busy socializing than doing her job, if it wasn't for the owner who knows when we would had gotten refills or our food or more salsa. And the hostess gave us to go drinks. We waited 15 minutes for our check then we finally put the money on the table of what we thought the amount was and left. I hoped it covered the bill. I don't want to hurt the owner it's not his fault and the food was great. We will never sit at her...

If you love the El Mariachi in Metter I am sure you will love this one too. It is owned by the same family and they are super friendly and fun. I got the Quesdilla Parmesan with grilled chicken The chicken was flavored perfectly and was so good with the cheese and spinach When you order a large cheese dip, you definitely get a large bowl. It was amazing food but the waitresses are also very nice and fun to joke around with too. I can't wait till they put their patio in, fun...
