Huddle House — Restaurant in Millen

Of all the restaurants within 30 miles including Sylvania, Waynesboro and Newington, the Huddle House Restaurant - MILLEN scores a 5 for a number of reasons. To begin with, we received a Bright Hello, welcome to Huddle House as we entered the door. From that point was the waitress’s ability to make our party of five feel we were the most important people there with prompt attention to our beverage needs and Friendliness of staff including the cook. The food was excellent and the prices were affordable. This Huddle House has a Great Menu, good food, fantastic service and is one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of eating in. The smells of this restaurant was not only amazing food smells, but a clean, fresh smell. The bathroom had been freshly cleaned and there were adequate towels and tissues present. At one point we saw a woman outside cleaning up the parking lot of thrown away cigarette butts, pieces of paper, etc. When asked about the service they used to keep the outside clean, the waitress told us that person was the Manager cleaning. According to her, the Manager was teaching some employees how to keep the property clean and in shape and they were to have an inspection therefore, they wanted everything to look good. Wow! You don’t find a Manager like that everywhere!

As I have not had any contact with these people today; but, I am sure that inspection went great. Personally, I must commend this Manager and Huddle House of MILLEN for their examples of Management and Quality Service. When my team or family members come through again, we will surely stop here.

Yes when I went into the huddle house tonight the store was for the most part clean, the service I received was outstanding the boy was alit inexperienced in what he was doing when he took my order but was able to get it taken care of. I looked at the cook and was pleased to see the boy had on his face mask and was doing all he could to help out the waiter. After my ticket printed and what not the cook wasted little time at all to wash his hands and arms before putting on gloves to start making my order. After a brief wait my food was brought out to me by the waiter and boy was I more than pleased not only was it cooked right but the plating and the way the cook carried himself was above and beyond my expectations for a simple cook. After which I called him and the boy over and asked for both there names. My waiter for the night was anthony and my amazing cook name was brandon. After that brandon went back to cleaning his area up. And anthony went and started washing dishes. Over all I had a spectacular visit and will definitely be coming back more often to dine...

Love the franchise, but this one sucks. Staff was so busy shooting the stuff between each other and 1 or 2 guests it took forever to get anything. Food sat on the counter for over 10 minutes and was lukewarm by the time it got to me. The place was moving like almost every table was full, it was me, 3 other tables, and 1 take out order. The take out order and 1 table didn't have their food yet when I got there.

Now, I try not to be too picky about the food prep, it is essentially a waffle house more or less. However, if I order eggs over medium I do expect you to at least try to get it right. Lady didn't even flip the eggs until she was ready to take them off the stove they were only flipped for the time it took her to get them into the takeout tray I didn't ask for.

Again, love huddle house, but I will not be returning to this location. Even waffle house can do a better job than this crew and they're as a general whole, not as good as...
