The hours are completely unrealistic. One o’clock during the week they have all their neon lights on, flags out and the inflatable tube arm man out but they don’t open till two. Second time it’s been like this. Mind you google says they open at one on Wednesdays but the hand written note says two on the door and there are people inside watching you attempt to open the door who don’t say anything obviously. Two of the three times we have tried to go at a normal lunch ice cream time and they are closed and the one time they were open the high school girls running it had zero customer service that if I didn’t have a three year old who would have left in tears I would have just left because of them. This is a cute little ice cream shop in the middle of town. The icecream is really good, but it is pretty expensive for what you are getting. The shop is cute with different little Mr Potato Heads all over the place. The only real issue I had was with the 2 young girls working the weekend. Neither of them greeted us as we came in and made us feel uncomfortable while we were there. They made it seem as if we were inconveniencing them to scoop some icecream and were quiet the whole time unless they had to ask us something about the order. We haven't even been in town long enough to check into our hotel, but you better believe that we made time for the best milkshake in Colorado! If you like cake batter flavoured goodies, their cake batter will blow your mind. It tastes like literal frozen cake batter. But the cherry pie is equally life changing, too. No matter how far away you are, it's worth the drive. Just go. You can thank me later.

PS The owner and staff are the best as well... fun, friendly, unpretentious but all pro. It's the kind of place you always wanted to hang out at when you were younger, and if there's a better compliment than that, I can't...
