Sorry, I can't agree with the positive reviews here. I was there for a solo dinner. Waitress was very friendly and efficient, offering coffee refills without my having to ask, but she forgot all about me at the end even though only one other table had customers. I waited a crazily long time for my check after finishing what I could eat of the meal. The food: blah. The cream of broccoli soup was a thick glop of white flour and water, barely any broccoli, terrible flavor, and the white blobbiness was a real turnoff. The flounder francaise was so salty it made my mouth pucker. I took most of it home so I could wash off the over-salted sauce. The broccoli was so undercooked I couldn't get my fork into it, so I took that home, too, to cook it until tender on my own stove. I go out to eat to avoid having to cook at home, so wasn't happy about this extra step. The baked potato wasn't baked, it was served in foil, which means it was steamed. The rice pudding, which my waitress told me was made in-house, wasn't great, with the rice undercooked. On top of everything, this diner's prices are WAY too high. I paid almost $30 with tax and tip for this less-than-average amount of not-good food. I love good old Jersey diners, but won't be back...

Tried the new Millville queen tonight. It is very nice inside. The menu was confusing when it came to the open face hot roast beef. It said soup and salad and two vegetables and pudding or ice cream. We asked our waitress was it soup and salad? She got Her manager who said it was either soup OR salad but if we wanted the soup and salad it would be $1.99 up charge. We both decided to have salad and no soup. When we got our bill we saw we were charged for the up charge. We did not understand. It’s not a lot of money but it was frustrating because we had asked the question. She had the manager come back. He said he had explained it incorrectly. That we could have the soup for free but regardless there was an up charge for the salad. At this point because of his error I would think he would have removed that charge. He did not.Because of Covid I don’t go out to eat. I made an exception to support a local business. I’m sure this seems bigger than it is because I have Anxiety with even going out. I wish I had stayed home. The food was good in the...

My fiance and I have visited this diner on several occasions without any issues except a couple food problems that were rectified. However yesterday was a terrible experience. We went to go eat here for my birthday and one of the waitresses (Tina Wright) refused to stop talking to my fiance when he politely asked her not to. They are family by marriage and she's so disrespectful to people we didn't want to be bothered with her nonsense. Then she was rude, vulgar and even spoke about his dead mother. The restaurant manager took her side and asked us to leave. Seriously? Who does that? Who keeps a waitress, a woman with such a disgusting mouth? Some people definitely show how they were raised. We are never going back there unless it's to speak to the owner about the problem with that awful server..... Good luck everyone with eating here because who knows who else they will let someone else...

I can't recommend the Turkish omelette enough. It contains feta, olives and tomato. I've also tried it with asparagus added (pictured). The home fries were perfectly sliced into random slabs that are better than either hash browns or cubed potatoes. I recommend adding peppers & onions. The toast was perfect, with just the right amount of butter for flavor, without overdoing it. Coffee was just right, and refilled promptly. Breakfast includes choice of juice. Seating was prompt, as was service, and the food came out quickly. The atmosphere is just what you would expect from a diner: informal, comfortable and cozy. There is plenty of parking. Total came to $13.35, including tax and added asparagus, peppers & onions (but not tip). Be prepared to say the tip amount when you pay since you don't enter it via receipt or terminal. You can pay with credit card or phone.

I have grown up with the Queen in Millville. Year after year, we have had so many family and friend dinner there. Over the years, the owners and their family have come to know mine; They are great people with a wonderful restaurant. While I am grown now and live in Florida, the one place I always make sure I stop in a few times during my visits home is the Queen. This time, the owners hosted a large family dinner at their second location and did a fabulous job! Very accommodating and a pleasure to work with, we will be back next year for another family dinner. Oh and let's not forget the food, always delicious!

Exactly what a NJ Diner should be! We've been here a few times, now - breakfast was delicious (fried eggs, corned beef hash, home fries, toast), and dinner was great both times. We've had melts, salad, pot pie, gyro, and the chicken a la broccoli - only complaint is that the sauce on the chicken a la broccoli is basically alfredo...but it was still really tasty! The service is excellent, ambience is really nice; fantastic selection of desserts, and a really solid list of specials. ...and the coffee has been great every time!
