Beaches Seafood Market & Restaurant — Restaurant in Milton

Let me start by saying that I am a previous employee and I am not in anyway shape or form leaving this in malice, anger, or any other negative way towards the staff there or the owners I am however writing this due to the fact that this was a birthday celebration and the service there was incredibly bad.

When we arrived our table was not ready we had reservations that were made three days prior. We waited at the door while they set up our tables, once seated, We waited almost 7 to 10 minutes just to have someone come over and greet us to get our drinks now we were a group of 10 to 12 people so expectations of the drinks taking a bit longer we’re understandable however we were not offered water or anything else to drink while we waited. Once our drinks got there they were all amazing the bartender who happen to be your server is well was tanks and we were ready to order however she came back to get our food order once she did we explained it was going to be separate checks and everybody order however the food came out in reverse order the people that ordered last got fed first and the people that are ordered first got fed last no one came out to see if our drinks needed refilled no one came out to see how our food was and no one came out to pre-bus or clear dirty plates from our table when we finally did get someone’s attention additional people and join our party that we did let the Bartender know we’re going to be showing up after they showed up the bartender never came back to the table I half an hour went by and those people actually had to walk to the bar to get service which is unacceptable again we were grabbing whoever was walking around to help us out because no one meaning the bartender ever came back to the table unless we sought someone else to get us some thing.

We ordered a round of shots and I asked specifically if she knew how we wanted them made and she said oh yes definitely they came back completely wrong we stated that they were wrong and she smiled at us and walked away they should’ve been remain or offered to be remade nothing was done about this we drank them they were awful and we paid for them Another round of drinks were requested after going through other people to get them and they came and they were fine at this point some of our party was leaving and the rest was staying no one could find her to get our checks the people that were leaving actually had to seek her out to get them once they were gotten those people paid and left all of us that stayed waited to get more food, Waited to get more drinks and continuously had to grab another server to get help.

When it was finally time to leave again the table was loaded with dishes and dirty glasses never was cleaned never was one dirty dish or glass removed while we sat there and due to that fact and the fact that the service was horrible and ignorant and rude tips were not add to the checks the original person that left did tip $31 on one part of the bill and knowing that that bill alone was well over $100 and knowing what everyone else purchased I know that this was well over a $300 table however the tip was not given that you would have expected.

Later in the evening I spoke with the general manager and let him know that nothing was done ignorantly maliciously mean angrily everybody sat there minding their own business and tried to have a good time we carried on conversations with everyone at our table spoke to nobody outside of our table except for the staff who we had to keep seeking out the GM said OK I’ll address it and left it go. We came to later find out that the bartender in the situation return to the kitchen to say she wanted to punch each and everyone and was doing everything in her power to not punch one of us this is how you want your restaurant to be perceived we came in as paying customers we came in and had a good time until your bartender caused the problems not once did anyone treat her unfairly rudely disrespectfully however the way she treated our group is totally...

I've patroned this establishment in the past and am really surprised with the service my family and I received. On August 3, 2019 collectively and order of 3 1bs of steamed snow crabs, 1 pound of steamed shrimp, deviled eggs, and a flounder sandwich were ordered for take out. My sisters and I waited by the bar for our orders to be prepared. Not once did the wait staff ask if anyone would like something to drink while we waited. I made mention to one of the staff members in passing, that I'd like to place a drink order. She replied that she wasnt working in that area and that someone else was assigned to the task. I assumed that someone would approach the counter at some point, but no one ever did. When I tried to get the attention of the other female staff member, she continued to tend to the patrons in the dining area. She came behind the bar to pour two glasses of beer from the tap, and never acknowledged our presence. Not once did she ask if we needed help, were being helped, or mention someone being there momentarily. The initial staff member that I mentioned the drink order to came back to the area and began to wipe down the sink and the counters behind the register. At this point we realized we're being ignored and we were made to feel very uncomfortable. It's as if our presence was being tolerated. Shortly after that, our orders were filled and we left. Upon arriving home we noticed our crabs weren't seasoned. On the menu it specifies that steamed crabs purchased at the market price are tossed with their signature spices. Its as if the order and the service was subpar intentionally, hoping that we'd never return. I honestly felt like it was because we were Black. No one should be made to feel uncomfortable in any establishment open to the public due to the color of their skin. It is unacceptable and I will no longer patron Beaches when staying...

Interesting entrance with 2 doors but neither labeled as an exit from the outside. Once in and at the "correct" door there is a sign to seat yourself. Tables were empty but had dishes on them. Picked one and it has flies roaming around. Picked another and it needed to be wiped down. After it was wiped it was sticky, asked for additional wet wipes to wipe the table and it did not help unfortunately as it was still sticky.

Entered the premise approx. 7:15, ordered drinks and got those in about 15-20 mins and another 10 mins maybe for the crab dip appetizer. It look 1 hour and 26 minutes after entering the door to receive an over cooked steak -- asked for medium rare and received a medium steak that was more fat than steak. 2 chicken sandwiches that didn't taste like anything as it was just a piece of breast with lettuce and tomato, and a blandish salmon. After the long wait was told by the server that they would get the crab dip taken off the ticket, confirmed with server that we had not be informed of the 1 hour wait time even though tables that arrived after had gotten their food and got their bill as the same time as we did. When the bill was placed on the table the dip was still on there, asked for clarification and was told the manager vetoed the comp but they would check again. Gave the card for payment and the total was unchanged with not a word from the server.

A Rather miserable experience at this establishment, and as we were only passing through the area we will not be destined to attempt a second chance...
