Brim Cafe was incredibly professional in catering our wedding and crucial in ensuring the entire thing went off without a hitch. My wife and I had tried a handful of caterers as we planned our wedding and Brim stood out immediately. The food was amazing. We also felt that the dinner packages felt the most inclusive compared to other caterers we tried. Whether you are looking to plan a wedding on a budget or go all out, you won't feel like you need to sacrifice any elements of a good dinner. The staff that worked the event were great, managing the buffet table and keeping track of the dining area. Brittany herself was constantly checking in with my wife and I to see if there was anything we needed and making sure things were running smoothly. Another important note was how big of a role Brittany played in ensuring we had all of our ducks in a row as far as the actual wedding goes besides just dinner. Brittany was always asking me questions about the wedding and the various details that would take place that evening. Without her asking the questions, most of the time I wouldn't have even thought to plan for some of the things she asked me about. We did not have a wedding planner and our venue coordinator wasn't always very helpful, without Brittany and Michael at Brim we likely wouldn't have had the event that we had. Brim will definitely take care of you, I was very happy with everything and I plan to recommend them to everyone else I know that gets married! Definitely give them a try, you will not be...
Read moreEdit: I never revived a response as stated in the company’s rather defensive response, which does not apologize once for the huge amount of wasted food we were charged for or the other complaints we had. Very disappointing. - We used Brim for our wedding. Although the food was good, we had a very difficult time communicating with them & getting answers in a timely fashion (some times we had to chase them for 2-3 emails to get a response). Very stressful! They did not want to have a phone call to make communication easier while we tried to organize things during a cross-country move. The real deal breaker was that we had guests at our event tell us that they could not get served - they did not have staff enough for our 140 ppl event to make sure all went smoothly. And then at the end of the night we went into the kitchen to discover a TON of LEFTOVERS- 8 huge hotel pans of unserved food that did not end up passed or set out for guests. So much food we paid for while our guests looked for servers. Unacceptable. We thought their donation of food to a charity would be nice but when we saw the sheer amount of waste we were shocked. Why did we pay for all this when it never got served? They should have known how to prep for our guest count.
No response from Brittany about our concerns with the night two months after our event. If you want a stress free and honest caterer I would think...
Read moreBrim catered a wedding that I was standing up in, and I have nothing but incredible things to say about the whole experience from the food to the servers, their professionalism and genuine care. As a full time wedding photographer, I eat at weddings very frequently. I have never once thought about the food from a wedding after it was over, including my own wedding. But this weekend, Mike and his team left me literally speechless (and wishing I could’ve taken more food home!). The food they served were classic plates but served with utmost intentionality to presentation, flavor and quality. I mean this with every ounce of truth, if I was getting married tomorrow, there’s no way I would choose anyone but Mike and his team from Brim. I happily give Brim my highest regard and recommendation, and urge anyone on the verge of considering them for catering to take the leap and hire them, you...
