Stone Creek Coffee - West Bluemound Road — Restaurant in Wauwatosa

Worst experience ever. I went to Stone Creek to puck up an Uber order. As soon as I walked in and said that I had an Uber eats order I was told right away that I was at the wrong place to go next door. When I went next door the young man who was very polite told me that it was a Stone Creek order. When he took me back to Stone Creek the rude young lady who refused my service said that they don't take Uber or door dash orders. When I checked the order it said that I had to place the order my self. So when I tried she rudely told me that the Uber prepaid card won't work and I'll have to pay out of pocket. So basically what I'm trying to say is that because I feel because I am African American she refused my service. I will be telling everyone I know about this establishment and who they have working for them. I don't know the young lady's name but she was a young white lady and it happened on September 4th around 715am. And when the other young man at the counter tried to help me she told him my card would decline so he stopped trying to help me. All I can say is that that was racism...

I honestly don't drink coffee that much. I never even liked coffee until I moved to Seattle for a bit. I'm more of a tea guy personally.

But dang do they have the best coffee around! Of course I still like stuff like Starbucks that offers a more sweet experience and loose interpretation of "coffee", but Stone Creek is where I go to for my nice cup of joe every once in a while.

Has a nice environment, not too big of a place to sit down and get some work done. Small yet cozy. The coffee is rich but still feels...grounded, if that makes sense. The staff is always excellent and nice!
