Champion Chicken — Restaurant in Milwaukee

Ordered food for delivery from Postmates. Description of meals was 5 piece tender, fries, slaw and bread 6 pieces of pressure cooked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh veggies, dinner roll and a cup of frozen yogurt. Order arrived, no bread, no roll, no slaw, no gravy and no custard. Called to make away we were missing half our order and man on the other line argues every point. Me: hi I just had an order delivered through post mates Him: yeah what’s wrong? Me: I got no gravy and my mashed potatoes... (Interrupting me) him: MA’AM yes there was I personally put it on there Me: well I’m looking at it right now and there is no gravy. Him: whatever, is that it? Me: no! My chicken tender meal didn’t get slaw Him: it doesn’t come with slaw Me: then why is it listed on your menu Him: I don’t know Me: I never got my frozen yogurt cup Him: that’s for in store only Me: then again why is it listed on your menu for to go! Him: I don’t know, what do you want me to do about it!?

I just hung up, I have never IN MY LIFE been treated so poorly by someone like that. I will NEVER order from them again and I will make sure my companies never order or cater from them again. Thank god Postmates refunded my money.

Oh and they upped the charge after it was put in and put my container in the bag on the side so all the chicken, mashed potatoes and corn were mushed together on the side.

HORRIBLE...

A favorite for almost 20 years...we were VERY disappointed tonight. I even have there phone # listed in my contacts. We have not ordered for awhile so we were shocked with the changes. From previous reviews, it appears they have new management. It is a total disservice to the quality of food they previously offered.

We ordered a party tub and the tub of shrimp and a separate pint of coleslaw. I called it in at 1645 and was told it would be ready for pick up in 30-40 minutes.

Shrimp is totally different...now butterflied, much smaller. Actually there is NO comparison to previous. Chicken pieces are smaller and have many broken bone pieces. We picked up at 5:15. Entire order was cold...ready for pick up time on receipt said 5:01..meaning it was ready 15 minutes from time of call not 30-40 minutes like we were told. Container of fries were considerably smaller. Coleslaw pint was not filled and is not the same flavor as previous.

We are so disappointed with the problems experienced today that we will not be returning which is sooooo very sad. After a 19 year run...its time to say RIP...

Prior to COVID, we ate fish fry's here regularly - but tonight I pulled into the empty parking lot (empty parking lot on a Friday night?!?!) which was always busy and crowded on Friday evenings. I was a little concerned- that they were closed but no - they were open and my food was waiting for me. When I got home and unpacked the chicken and fish it was - not great. The fish was translucent in places (not fully cooked). The fries were also not done, pale and greasy. I don’t eat meat, so I usually eat the rye bread (not there) fries, and the cold slaw which tasted old and like the refrigerator. I don’t know what happened. In the past we could count on a decent meal from Champion Chicken. I threw away the fish, put the fries in the oven to complete cooking and my kids ate the chicken (although I was pretty reluctant to let them). I gave this review 2 stars for two reasons. 1 because the food was ready on time and 2 because the chicken was cooked. Otherwise this was a...
