Mykonos Restaurant — Restaurant in Milwaukee

My family of 6 came to eat breakfast here around 11 a.m. The food was pretty good, we all agreed on that. The server, she was good. She did keep our coffee filled, and took back wrong food. A couple lean over the food incidents but nothing to horrible. We are done eating waiting for the check, we ask to split the check four ways. That isn't possible you can't pay separately in parties over 5. Due to a party of 50 coming in and 4 groups not paying the check and the waitress have it come out if her pay. Fine, she brings us the bill a big $145.22 written in pink highlighter on it. This isn't the first time we have eaten together, so we are all shocked 😳. What's interesting is that if we would have paid separately we were going to leave her way more than what we feel we're forced to leave her, $21.15. This experience left a bad taste in our mouth. My pops stayed to pay the bill, and he let me know that the cashier said "Don't worry about the tip it's already included" like they were doing us a favor. 🧐🧐🧐 We are a family that travels multiple times a year, this was just unacceptable behavior the food not so good, this place would have gotten 1/5. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 #1) I don't like to be forced to do things against my will. #2) Breakfast is my favorite part of the day. Starting out the day on a road trip home with a bad taste in your mouth, just doesn't sit well. It's a nice place to eat but the ICE TEA was definitely old. It has been a little better on visits prior, but the beginning was too stressed for our server- maybe someone called in but it had negative impact. THEN, the little blond cashier told us as we paid the bill that there was no military discount (im a disabled veteran, i appreciate that about this place) or any other discount..... ( we had American Legion and Aarp and others).

I knew others at other tables, so since they were military as well (amongst them my Post Commander) and since they frequent regularly were sad to hear the news. WELL, their waitress, who did actually look a bit off center began screaming out just loud enough to draw attention: "IVE WORKED HERE FOR 20YRS AND WE AINT NEEEVAAAH HAD A MILITARY DISCOUNT SO YOU MIGHT AS WELL FORGET ABOUT THAT!!!" Me and my acquaintances were puzzled- as we usually utilize the military discount and feel favorably about this restaurant, patronizing it over others even for it's care for us veterans. 1. Very rude inject yourself into diner's conversations 2. To call yourself "publicly checking " someone in a loud tone for passing information obtained by their fellow staff is UNHINGED at best. Mykonos is my family's favorite restaurant the people are super friendly the food is always good the breakfast is great and is our favorite my little girl loves the spaghetti they know us by name which is nice sometimes if we get our favorite waitress she even knows what we're going to order before we order it and usually comes right out with our drinks because she knows us that well I don't know if they're like that with everyone but I get the feeling that they are George is the frontman he's awesome he's always got a smile he's always got up lollipop for baby at the end when she loves to death our favorite waitress is Jessica she has a beautiful smile and a aura about her that is something next to Fantastic another girl to ask for is Sue she is nothing short but a breath of fresh air Healthy Smiles and no corals about doing that little something extra that some of us may ask for at times. These two young ladies are our favorites but the entire wait staff is on point these are just some of our favorites we've never had a bad time food is always hot and the coffee is the bomb I am a coffee fanatic and I love the coffee here I hope this helps you in your decision where to go to get something good to eat.
