I love this place more than life itself! Right now, my death row meal would be a giant bowl of their delicious posole Rojo, with lots of cilantro, onion, radish, and crispy tostadas on the side. And limes to squeeze into it! Best posole I’ve ever had in my life, and I’ve had it in a lot of places ranging from New Mexico to Chicago to Jalisco restaurant in Milwaukee, the best of them all. As if the posole was not enough, he will search the world over and not find a better al Pastor taco than Jalisco’s. The pork is perfectly spiced, and beautifully grilled so that there’s a little texture and crunch to it while still retaining the juiciness and flavor of classic Al Pastore. The tortillas are fresh, warm, and wonderful. The service is consistently helpful without being obtrusive. I just cannot say enough good things about this fabulous restaurant. Last note: the prices are extremely reasonable, especially for food of such...
Read moreI'm very disappointed with the food we received. I have eaten food from Jalisco since they opened back in the early 90s. This was the WORST food I've ever had from there. We got Two orders of the chicken milanesa and it was burnt on top, looks like the under side didn't even touch the oil. We were able to scrape off the uncooked breading and somehow the chicken was way overcooked. The breading wasn't seasoned at all...not even a dash of salt. The corn tortillas were stale...as if they had already been heated, got cold and then reheated. The fries had no salt. My daughter ate hers even though hers looked like mine. I threw mine out. This place is garbage now. They obviously take no pride in what they put out there. I guess we'll take our business elsewhere. My dog could cook a...
Read moreI’ve ordered from them multiple times on Uber eats and they honestly have my order wrong more times than they have gotten it right. Do not order an Horchata from them. I’ve ordered Horchata about 6-7 times and three of those times they haven’t sent it with my order. I call and very rarely do the actually apologize, they reference you to go through more work to get food. “ Contact Uber eats and they will refund you”. So now I have to go through extra steps to ensure I am compensated. Poorly managed and they don’t have the decency to double check orders before they go out of the restaurant. The food is good but not worth the upcharge that you pay for missing items. There are other good Mexican restaurants in the city that can get a simple...
