Prior to gaming machines becoming decriminalized I placed a total of five slot machines in this tavern providing the owner, L.C. Greenwood, a key to the machines to take the money out as often as possible in case the machines were ever confiscated by the, Milwaukee Poloce Delartmwnt. Typically, I did collections weekly or bi-weekly depending on the revenue they made and when arriving to do my first collection from the Ret Lounge after taking an electronic reading on the machines validating the amount of money taken in was told by Mr. Greenwood he did not have the money as he had spent it all and asked me if it would be okay to call his wife and bring me the money. Unfortunately, there were several more instances like this where I would show up to do a collection on the machines and was told he would have to call his wife Betty who is a school teacher to pay me my money as it appeared L.C. had either gambled or spent my half of the money as our arrangement was to split the profit equally. Unfortunately, this went on for several months where L.C. was calling his wife as I would have to wait until she arrived from work or have to come back later that day or the following to meet with Betty to the money owed to me. Unfortunately, as time went on L.C. began stating the machines must be incorrect and could not owe me that much money as it appeared he was encouraging his wife Betty to lie for him as well where they would both say the machines are inaccurate and must be wrong despite having been in his tavern for many months of not over a years time. Unfortunately, it became such a negative experience my service men were forced to lock up the machines and take away the key(s) from Betty and her husband, L.C. Greenwood. so that we could be able to validate they money put into the machine by customers playing the game(s), machine the digital print out showing the amounts which we were able to do. Unfortunately, the minute we gave Betty and L.C. their keys to the machines back it started again where he and his wife were stating the machines must be wrong and were regularly doing collections on the machines receiving far less than I was suppose to as it became so bad I asked my employees to go to the tavern and pick up the machines. L.C. Greenwood and his wife Betty despite being a school teacher were two of the worst people I have ever done business with as they were simply out for themselves as their intentions were not genuine costing me a great deal of time and money. I would not recommend doing business with L.C. Greenwood or his wife, Betty. To put it bluntly they are...
