The Newport — Restaurant in Milwaukee

The drinks and service at the bar were fine, but the Summerfest shuttle is very poorly coordinated. There was very little communication as to pick up/drop off details, no wristbands or any way to indicate that we had bought drinks and paid to use the shuttle, and no Newport signage on the bus to identify it. We tried to find our shuttle home for 30+ minutes at 11pm at the location where we were dropped off and in the bus line, but there was no bus home and no response from their phone number listed on Google maps. We never got a ride home from them had to find other transportation. If management is reading this, please provide your patrons with wristbands to board the bus at the end of the night, ensure your pick up location is clearly communicated while patrons are riding to Summerfest, communicate pickup times and frequency, and label your bus so it's...

Visited in July 2024. A really cool bar. Staff were attentive and friendly and the prices were low. Looking forward to visiting again next time I'm over.
