Speed Weenies on Howell — Attraction in Milwaukee

Such a lovely find! I tried it on a whim, having never done lure coursing with my pup before, so I wasn't sure how the process went. I felt completely aware of everything to expect within the first few conversations, and my dog was immediately interested in the game. At NO fault of Speedweenies (completely my dogs fault for leaping off the concrete that wasn't part of the course), my dog ripped up a paw pad about halfway into our timeslot. Immediately the game stopped, a first aid kit was provided, and care was given. To say i was impressed was an understatement. I felt absolutely safe and comfortable with the handling of the injury and the care given to my dog, who is notorious for these sorts of shenanigans. The offer to come back to finish out the 15 minutes was also given, which was definitely not needed since my guy was completely exhausted for the car ride home, but was very appreciated! I cannot recommend this hidden gem enough, and if you have a dog with a history of soft feet, it's still a safe, secure and very amusing way to tire your dog out. Love Speed Weenies! We brought our dogs separately for their first time. The booking process was fast and easy. Our first dog had a blast and was easily tired out after a few rounds. Our second dog ended up being one of the very few who don’t chase the lead. Ris did everything he could to make our dog comfortable and help ease him into the experience, but after a while we decided to be done. We were offered a choice between a full refund or a free re-booking for another time. We really appreciated this policy!
