This place is the real deal. Not only do they offer a lot of variety, but they do it very well. The crust on their pizza is exceptional. It has a good structure that holds the weight of the toppings well. It is crisp on the outside and soft and tender on the inside. The flavors are great here and very well balanced. We tried their dill pizza and it had great flavor all around. The pickles added some crunch and acidity, the bacon added some salt, and the fresh dill helped brighten up the pizza and introduce some freshness to it. Our table agreed it was a great pizza, but we definitely couldn’t eat one in its entirety just because how rich and strong it is. I don’t mean this in a bad way at all. It’s just a warning to those who love pickles like we do that it might be best to split this pizza with some others! The star of the show was their special “The Radical” which had goat cheese, beets, parsnips, carrots and fresh sage. The veggies were cut to the perfect thickness that it didn’t weigh down the pizza or make it soggy. They were cooked just enough to have a bite to them but not mushy and the presentation itself was very nice. We had really great service too. The lady who greeted us was very nice and our server Mike was friendly and was great at anticipating our needs. We went during a slow time but I can imagine the atmosphere here is really awesome when it’s busy. There’s lots of seating inside and a bar with some diner stools if you prefer to do that instead. The decor was cool. It’s a very inviting place and the people that work here add to that. It’s hard to fault anything here and I very much look forward to trying it again.

Customer service is always friendly and professional. The pizza is the best New York style in Milwaukee. I recommend the Garlic Lovers, the ingredients are fresh and they add more than enough toppings on your personal pizza (add spicy sausage and green olives). The historic features are amazing from the stained glass to the wood work with the exposed wood beams overhead. My only recommendations are to serve your sangria and wine in wine glasses instead of pints. Also, change the interior green paint on the west wall to match the stained glass and change the dark grey on the south wall to a light grey that matches the tiles instead of the grout. Leave the dark grey in the bathroom hall and paint the bathroom doors to make them concealed. Highly recommend Transfer for date night, families, or take out. Best pizza in town.

Visted Milwaukee and spent time looking for a great pizza place. Decided to try Transfer based on the reviews and the delicious looking pizza photos. The service was great and staff was very friendly but we were extremely disappointed in the pizza. We got the Margherita and the Roasted Potato Chicken pizza (added artichokes). The crust was amazing, cooked perfectly and nice and crisp, however the rest of the pizza was the most bland I've ever had in my life. Both sauces had absolutely no flavor to them. They looked amazing but unfortunately tasted more bland than a frozen pizza to both of us. Such a bummer. I really wanted to love the pizza but I honestly can't figure out how there are so many amazing reviews based on how flavorless the pizza was.

I went with 4 kids, and it was a hit! My kids loved the wonderful atmosphere, it was cozy, so clean, and so much art to look it! They loved it. What came next is something I was not prepared for, normally places have cool sheets for the kids to color- NOT this place, they even had bigger crayons for little ones and handed each kid a circle cardboard (what the pizza sits on so it’s not too hot) to draw whatever they liked (they all drew pizza and one drew a Spider-Man on his lol) and my kids thought that was just the coolest thing, there’s also an opening where you can see the cook creating his dough and tossing it up and making the pizzas. It was fun to watch and see and smell all the good food!!!! The staff was AMAZING!!!!! they were patient and kind and so fun! The way they talked to my kids on ordering was just great my kids felt so proud they ordered by themselves! Now as far as the food….BEST PIZZA EVER!!!! My kids couldn’t get enough! We had cheese and pepperoni (smalls) and that was enough for me I didn’t even finish my whole pizza! We also ordered cheesy garlic bread, do yourself a favor and order it- you WONT regret it! This place was a win-win in my book, the staff was amazing, place was so cute and cozy and so clean! The food was so GREAT and cool to see be made and there wasn’t a crazy wait for it being made to order! Let’s be honest what kid doesn’t love pizza?! Eat here with your family, you’ll have the best time and it will be a family favorite for sure, it was for us and we plan to go back next week!!!! Also, there are changing tables in both bathrooms!!! Super nice for dad or mom to...

We went to TPK after swinging and missing on a couple other places. Only to find TPK should've been on the top of our list! Super fun atmosphere! It was a Thursday night and live music was also on the menu. A great jazz and variety band! The place was vibrant and lively. The staff was eager, very friendly and extremely helpful. We told the bartender (who we suspect may have been an/the owner) that we had never been there before. He gave us a tour of the menu and some welcome information. We ordered the Thai Pizza and Garlic Special, both personal size. They offer personal or large pizzas as well as appetizers and a full menu including vegan and gluten options. Our pizzas came out too hot to eat right away, excellent! Quality ingredients and heaping flavor adorned both pizzas! Quality service, Excellent food, Clean and inviting atmosphere put Transfer Pizza Kitchen on top of the list of places to go for pizza and a good time. We left with big smiles on our faces. The only disappointment was not finding this place sooner. Pricing was very reasonable. I would recommend to family...
