Their Bread is simply Amazing. What is it Dave's Killer Bread was founded by Dave Daul who served time in prison and actually a lot of their employees are also Ex-Cons but don't let that turn you off. Everyone there with a criminal record is working hard not just to better themselves but also be productive members in society. They want that second chance and don't want to go back to prison. The breads made are acvery very good. They come in a huge selection of sandwich breads, Beagles and English Muffins and now Hamburg buns and their new snack bars. Using superior ingredients in all their products and No High Fructose Corn syrup in anything they make. Some of their breads have lots of Fiber and Omega-3s. I love buying their powerseed bread. It has only 1g of sugar per slice so of you're diabetic and want a bread that's friendly to your body and also tastes good, there it is. Next time you shop for groceries Look in the bread isle for it. They also have a product locator on the company's website if you're not sure where to go in your community. True the price is a little high. However consider the cheaper breads. Looks on the label on the back most of it is highly processed wheat and High Fructose Corn and sodium and just nothing but unhealthy junk. But with Dave's Killer Bread. It's always good for your body ingredients Non GMO certified Organic lots of fiber, Omega-3s, some are sprouted grains and others use 21 grains. Ingredients our Doctors will say we should be eating. They have a Good Seed White done right the power seed, Rockin Raisin, Righteous Rye, for me it's the power seed. Very shortly before he was jailed, I used to serve Dave Dahl his coffee every morning at Bob's Red Mill in Milwaukie across the street from Dave's factory and of course Bob's Red Mill sells Dave's bread.

Regardless of what Bob's Red Mill employees say, Dave NEVER tipped anyone at the espresso counter, never had a kind word to say to anyone, and would at times exhale and sneer condescendingly if you tried to talk to him. We were all told to treat Dave like he was solid gold. Bob's RM would send newer or more expendable employees out to serve Dave because they knew he was combustible and they didn't want to risk losing seasoned staff.

The truth is Dave Dahl belongs in prison. It was extremely evident to me on my first interaction (with a Bob's veteran server) that the guy was unhinged. Eventually, I started deliberately messing up his coffee so that he would complain and someone else would have to deal with that damaged monkey if he decided to have an "episode".

In January 2014, I decided to purchase a loaf of DAVE'S KILLER BREAD, which was a fairly new product at my local Safeway store located here in Fortuna (Humboldt County, CA) This amazingly dense, tasty and satisfying bread is, without doubt, the best I have ever eaten! The packaging, and words "Organic Bread," are what attracted my initial decision to purchase this product and now my only complaint is that I am addicted to Dave's Bread... and instead of seeking a 'support group,' I continue to purchase the enticing variety of 'killer' grains... and furthermore, tell everyone who will listen that they, too, should be ingesting this addictive product! The extra expense is well worth the investment in this great, great bread!!
