Runza Restaurant — Restaurant in Minden

Worst food I have ever attempted to eat. 4 of us ordered runzas for the first time and from the very first bite they were horrible. Very little "meat", tasted more like pink slime, cold, not even warm enough to melt a slice of cheese. The consistency of the filling was like it had been pureed and then smeared in the bread. Everyone threw theirs away, but I was able to get mine down since I was very hungry and my blood sugar was dropping.

The onion rings were also nasty. They tasted like they came from the freezer and not "home made" as advertised.

Could not give lower than one star or I would have.

I would like to know why this restaurant closes so early on Saturday nights. We were in town for a basketball tournament and were told when we ordered our food that the restaurant would be closing at 7:30 p.m. Is this because of short staffing? If you would have kept the restaurant open until 8:30 or nine you could have made a killing. We left a car in the parking lot and came back about that time and we saw at least 5 cars pull into the parking lot and looking for food. I do have to say that our food was hot and cooked properly. Although the runzas were really skinny so...

I just went to subway.after 20 minutes standing in line I ordered my son ordered and then they did not have any meatballs left to make enuff sandwichs for my other 2 kids so..we will go to runza to feed the other 1 because one is extremely disappointed her brother got food and she didn't ...really disappointed ..I felt the apology was more of a rude comment and not a real apology.. will not be trying this again ..they didn't even offer to discount anything just rudely blurted...
