Very impressed with the food! The Steak Fajitas and Chorizo Queso were some of the best I have had (and we live in Texas!) The Food - 5 Stars: For the order, we had: 1) Steak Fajitas 2) Chorizo Queso 3) Chips/Salsa The Drinks - 4 Stars: 1) Frozen Margaritas Atmosphere 4 Stars: The small place has a nice vibe to it. The high back booths were a quaint and somehow seemed to make the place bigger. The Service - 3 Stars: We stopped in Sikeston on a Sunday evening (7/24) on a road trip from Indiana to Texas and were sat down immediately with no wait. It was not too busy, and we were able to get served well. I generally expect a little more attention from the waitstaff which is why this one is lower. The Price - 5 Stars: $ - Total food and drinks (before tip) ~$30 total. Since we split the fajitas, it might be more expensive for other entrees. Overall, 4 stars and would highly recommend it.

Delicious, fresh, well-seasoned Mexican food with large portions. We decided to stop by this restaurant for dinner while driving from St Louis to Memphis as there were good reviews. It would be easy to miss if we hadn’t put it in our Google map GPS. They are family friendly and accommodated my kids that want everything deconstructed and on the side. We had chunky guacamole and chicken chimichangas. The shredded chicken was mildly spicy with peppers, onions, tomatoes and had just enough kick that the adults enjoyed it, but my kids didn’t find it too spicy. The cheese sauce with the red gravy on the relleno was also tasty. The service was attentive despite being really busy. We would definitely come back. It is nice to see they are expanding. We lived in the Southwest for 17 yrs and found it refreshing to find good Mexican food in MO.

We found this restaurant a few years back when we tried to go to a nearby restaurant but didn't want to wait two hours for seating. I looked up Mexican Restaurants nearby and this one popped up. At first my wife didn't want to go in because it looked a little rough on the outside, but we decided to try it...and I am glad we did!!! The guacamole was fresh as can be and came out in a huge bowl and everything else we ordered was incredible. We decided this would be our place to go when traveling through the area. Fast foreword a year and we visited again. The outside has had a complete makeover and looks great and the inside has been updated as well. My advise is that if you are in Sikeston, skip the tourist trap and get yourself some amazing food here.

Friendly staff. Fast service and a drive through. Been there numerous times, trying different things. So, lets get to it.

  1. If I place an online order for pick up, please do not ask me for payment and then have to check with someone when I decline to pay, because it's an online order. I literally can not place an online order without paying in advance.
  2. If I order an online order and pick it up and give you a 10$ tip, I do not like the nearly 6$ service charge? No longer going to give a tip. You're not getting 16$ to make my food when I can't even have a margarita to go. Plus, I'm picking it up. Not being waited on or using your restroom or anything.
  3. Love the regular soft tacos, although 3.50$ a piece is a bit much for the size.
  4. Mexican tacos carntias? Soggy grease soaked corn tortillas. No! Huge no!. Thankfully, I got the onions on the side, because too many hurts my stomach. Not sure where the side was. Never did find it. but despite the meat being flavorful....way too much whimpy cilantro. I managed to scrape the insides onto a plate and feed them to the cats. They loved it
  5. I ordered chicken and rice three times and all three times it was dry. I really wanted chicken and rice (eye roll).
  6. I ordered steak nachos twice and both times the cheese was on the bottom. None on top, making them dry and all the chips on the bottom soggy.
  7. regular taco salad with beef. Soggy...Soggy, Soggy, Soggy shell. I didn't even attempt that again. Literally looked like water in the bottom.
  8. taquitos trio, beef....good.
  9. salsa ? Bland. Tomatoe flavored water.
  10. hot sauce, no flavor, just heat.
  11. what I call dirty fries...not bad
  12. great portions for the money
  13. corn tortillas no flavor (eye roll).
  14. beef enchiladas...don't get me started.
  15. love being able to order an avocado as a side option.
  16. love the drive through option.
  17. cancun burrito, beef. Not bad. But that's not authentic mexican.
  18. can't recall other items, so I must not have been impressed.

This place and menu options has potential. Just wish they were more authentic mexican. Far from it,...

I wouldn’t even give them a 1 star rating. They deserve the tip the waitress got….nothing. We were not impressed with the food. The waitress sucked! After my husband ordered our son a plate of French fries she brings out a plate of rice. When my husband tried to nicely tell her about it she argued with him!!!! I was sitting there and I know exactly what he ordered…..a plate of French fries. Plus we got charged for the rice and the fries. Definitely need to brush up on the English language. We had to sit our empty drink cups on the side of the table or they didn’t get refilled. We have NEVER had to ask for everything at a Mexican restaurant. It’s usually just brought to our table with no problem. Another issue we had was how slow they were at getting our food to us. I was pretty sure they had to kill the chicken, pig, and cow before serving us and then I got my plate….then had to wait another 15 minutes at least to get my husbands ……then had to wait another 15 on our sons fries. A restaurant critic needs to go visit that place!!! 😡😡😡 Good luck to anyone who visits there. We hope you get a better...

The best chips around! Super thin, crispy, and served warm. We discovered this little gem on our trip to Florida. We pulled off at the main Sikeston exit and stopped at the closest Mexican restaurant to the interstate (which is technically in Miner, MO). It was about 11:30 a.m., and the lunch crowd wasn't in full swing yet. Got a table quickly, but be warned, this small restaurant does fill up! On the flip side, the staff hustles and clears tables immediately, so there wasn't a long line waiting but more of a constant flow of customers in and out. My husband and I split an order of lunch fajitas ($7.49). Very reasonably priced. We left with a carryout box. We saw several customers eating what's called Molcajete, a hot stone bowl filled with grilled chicken, shrimp, and steak with onions, peppers, topped with salsa ranchera and cheese. That was enough to time our return trip just to stop here again to try the Molcajete ($13.99)! Not disappointed. It was excellent! Word of caution -- split it with someone. Its huge! Love...
