Curioso Coffee Bar: Northeast — Restaurant in Minneapolis

I love working from this space in the mornings. The coffee is delicious and it has fantastic lighting. The bar has outlets but there aren’t any others outside of that so bring tech fully charged if you want to sit at a table or the couches.

Accessibility: This space has entry ramps at both the front and back of the building. They also have designated accessible parking spaces in the back for curioso and the attached bakery Aki’s. They have a gender neutral single stall restroom. I have not used it so can not confirm hand bar status or space inside. The women’s restroom has a large stall with grab bars. I have not used the men’s stalls. They are dog friendly so emotional support animals...

Im sorry, but you’re not entitled to a tip just because you have set up your point of sale system to ask for one. My not leaving one (I don’t tip at McDonald’s, whose workers do the exact same amount of work in handing me my food/drinks, either) isn’t a reason for your barista to nearly chuck my food and coffee at me. Also, when your “specialty hand pie” filling has three simple ingredients (a blob of cold cream cheese, a little bit of tomato and a whoooooole lot of slimy onions), that same barista’s response to a question “does the filling have onions?” shouldn’t be anything...

Let me preference this by saying I’m not a coffee drinker, but when I ordered a hot Cafe Mocha (Wife) and a Gingersnap Latte (me) I was pleasantly surprised they asked what milk I wanted, I inquired about non-dairy and was happy when they said they default to oak-milk, (lactose and me don’t play well together). When I got home and we had our first sips I was blown away, unlike other shops where it tastes like hot sugary coffee flavored water, they both have a full rich taste to them. Definitely recommend, plus if you go there between 8-10am on weekends they have happy hour...
