Didn’t know this memorial existed until I encountered it today. It honors Minnesota veterans and the center sculpture represents protective shields. It is a very calm and quiet place, tucked behind industrial streets. There are several benches facing the river and a playground and a picnic shelter in the park. There is a bike path leading to it.

It's a small park but with a playground, picnic shelter, basketball court and playable art, along with benches, a drinking fountain and path connections. A two-way, off-street, lighted riverfront trail runs through Sheridan Memorial Park that honors all Minnesota veterans. It’s centered on a large spherical sculpture icon of this place.

Nice park with memorials and children's play area along a very busy riverfront trailway. Beautiful views of the Mississippi. Located behind the Greenbelt building at the edge of the artist area.

There is a very nice war memorial here as well as a nice walking path along the river and a playground for the kids with some fun things to climb, and swing and dig with.

This is every nice to visit. I did not about it until I accidentally found it in lower North East Minneapolis on 14th Ave. It is a very good place to find some history.

Lovely area with a park and walking path right by the river. Great spot to spend an afternoon with, friends, kids, or your friends with kids.
