Sheridan Memorial Park — Attraction in Minneapolis

I went for a nice long walk and ended up here, on a bench enjoying the sunset. While night fell, a pair of loud voices were discussing their thoughts but there was no one around on the bike paths. The voices kept ringing out clearly, but they were no where to be seen. So I got up to look around. Turns out, a pair of kyakers were trying to find the landing steps in the darkness of the river 15 feet below me with just a cigarette lighter to light up...

stopped at the bike station to top up my tyres on a chilly ride back to St Paul from Robbinsdale. all i can really say is that the station was very well lit and seemingly safe (for me, a middle aged white dude.... ymmv depending) at 4 am on a Thursday morning. i know the park to be great for all sorts of other activities and festivities, one of many great waterfront...

Excellent small park along the trail! It's a veterans memorial Park so it seems extra work has gone into making it an excellent park. Has a small but pretty varied play structure for the kiddos. Also has a large spherical sculpture of some sort located a ways away with a nice and generally quiet seating area. Overall the place is very...
