New update no smoking on patios.
Bye forever ..
8/20/2025 Before going to a new place, I always call to make sure smoking is allowed. They told me This place allowed smoking, so I smoked on the patio , There were Americans and other smokers there, so I started going there almost every day. The female staff are very friendly and polite, so I always tip them. I'll tell you about a first incident that happened today. A customer who didn't like smoking complained to a staff member. A male staff member told me that some other customers didn't like smoking. I explained to the male staff member that I made a phone call to check smoking was allowed at first place before I even come here and since then I come here almost every day. I said Ive seen other customers smoking, too. And I always follow local and people vibe to learn new things . I explained that I like to smoke in the shade, sitting at a table and drinking coffee, but the white long hair male staff member insulted me, saying things like, "Can't you smoke while standing?" and "Do your legs shake?" Was it necessary to say this to me? It’s unprofessional. Anyways I asked what I should do next, and the male staff member told me that he would discuss it with the staff and make a decision, but that smoking would be allowed until the no-smoking sign was re-upped. Before I left, I checked with the female staff member again, and she told me that employees they don’t know or they are confused and smoking was allowed until the no-smoking sign was re-upped. I didn’t mean to make others makes uncomfortable. I always sit on the corner even it’s okay to smoke … No one’s wrong in this situation. It’s just a misunderstanding… And I’ll have to find out in future soon if it’s okay to smoke or not …they will put out signs of not allowed smoking.. If not allowed to smoke then I won’t go back but I like this place so much. Buy it is what is .
8/ 6 /2025 I came here for first time and there’s nice employee . I was looking for my everyday go to coffee shops and I found it . I just like this place it’s relaxing and I like natures mixed up . There’s groups of people who plays board games and there’s others who are working phone call and there’s people who watch videos and there’s people quit many...
Read moreGood drinks, food was okay.
The main issue we ran into was picking up our drinks. We ordered two drinks and two breakfast entrees. We sat ourselves at a table we thought was close enough to the bar to hear our order, but quickly realized we couldn’t hear the soft-spoken barista calling out the drinks at the bar. I joined three other customers standing near the bar, which had about three unclaimed drinks (one of which sat there for almost an hour). Clearly, we weren’t the only customers having trouble hearing the barista. After a few minutes, he quietly called out the drink I ordered and I waited a beat to see if anyone else would claim it. No one from the dining area got up for the drink, so I double-checked the ticket to make sure it was the exact drink I ordered - all good. Except, it apparently wasn’t. When I grabbed a straw and took a sip the barista told me “that’s not your drink.” My drink was supposed to come out with a ticket showing the TWO drinks we ordered. Noted! I felt terrible that I wasted the baristas time and stole a drink from another customer.
Maybe I’m an idiot, but I can’t help but wonder why an order name or number system isn’t used to prevent these type of situations? If the staff are so soft-spoken that drinks are left unclaimed for long periods of time, it would be nice to have another system in place for customers to double-check their ticket - not just an...
Read moreI like this local Northeast Minneapolis coffee shop. It's in the old California warehouse building, which has been converted to 50 or more artist Studios amongst other things and this coffee shop. The coffee shop is more than a coffee shop it is also an art gallery primarily dedicated to Pottery but not specifically there are other things here as well. It definitely supports your local arts and as you will quickly notice with the photos, some of those local artists are Sublime, worthy of collections. There is a pottery wheel in the corner behind a glass wall where one of the Proprietors a master Potter has been known to work I have seen him do it. The walls are absolutely covered with art available for sale, very Bauhaus, as in most of the art is 1 off brilliant coffee cups and other tool type pieces. Coffee is both strong and reasonable in price there is a wide selection to offer as well as breakfast and lunch, it is not a late night coffee shop. This place closes with the sun setting. After which you'll have to go to any number of other places in the area coffee shops bars restaurants, you're in Northeast it's a paradise of social Gathering watering holes of...
