We LOVE 🦆🦆 Coffee! We live nearby, so this is our go-to place. Their mocha brings me back to my childhood, it feels so nostalgic. Their lattes are excellent, as are their house-made syrups (try the toasted marshmallow or vanilla brown sugar). Their chai latte is also great. My wife loves their americano. Really, you can't go wrong!!!
The staff are all absolutely wonderful. The shop's aesthetic is eclectic in the best way. My favorite thing is the framed photo of Jadzia Dax from DS9 on the wall.
They have old arcade games you can play! They also have a selection of cards and other games to play. And a little library of books to read while you're there! (Come to their book club at 6pm on the last Wednesday of the month!)
Finally, they always have an art gallery going featuring a local artist! Right now my wife's art is up on the wall!
🦆🦆 is my favorite community space. We love to just hang out there. Come for the good coffee, stay for the...

In the far corner of this cafe, there are reading materials. All of them pertain to Alcoholics Anonymous, or Narcotics Anonymous, or Al-Anon—among them I found a copy of Adult Children of Alcoholics. What drew me to this particular book is obvious, but whatever possessed me to actually read it on the spot, I cannot tell you. Sitting in the very back of Duck Duck Coffee, feeling simultaneously like an undeveloped toddler and very (very) old man, I held my breath to stop from crying.
Thanks, Duck...
Read moresigh I am spoiled by Mayday Cafe, but while they’re temporarily closed I’ve got to check out other places. Unfortunately at $6.50 for a plain 16oz latte, before tax and tips, this place is not it. The scone was tasty but again, $4 for something so small is so disappointing. I ended up spending $3 more total than I would at Mayday for significantly less product. The pricing is my only beef with Duck Duck, otherwise it’s an amazing spot with sick vibes that does great things for the community. As someone who lives in the neighborhood, I’m very grateful for the ways they bring people together and...
