Five Wyatt café is a quiet and cozy coffee shop located in the Kingfield neighborhood. Upon entering the café, you are greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, with a rustic yet modern décor that creates a comfortable setting for enjoying your coffee. One of the standout features of Kingfield Five Wyatt café is its exceptional coffee. I personally love their drink called Kingfield. It's a delightful twist on the classic latte, infusing the warm, comforting flavor of vanilla into every sip. The drink starts with a hint of saltness from the black Hawaiian sea salt, which add a subtle savory note that balances the sweetness of the vanilla. At the end of the sip, you will taste the bitters. The addition of bitters to a latte adds complexity and depth to the flavor profile. The bitterness of the bitters cuts through the sweetness of the vanilla, creating a more balanced and intriguing taste.

Cozy spot in a great location. Stop by for a cup if you’re in the area…service is great!

Easily my favorite coffee shop in the entire city. House made bitters, fresh ingredients, and locally roasted coffee beens makes this place unrivaled in the breadth and taste of their offerings. Quaint and laid back, you'll be hard pressed to find a shop offering the quality and creativity of Five Watt. If you are hungry, be sure to pick up any of the bakery items made fresh by Patisserie 46. Simply a must for all coffee lovers.

Why I love Five Watt.

Classic MoTown playing just loud enough. Trevor bopping his head to the music and eating his lunch at the bar. Ash and Andrew trading quips and whipping up magic with the best pours in town. Gentle buzz of conversation at tables. Lone wolves hunched over their laptops. Old guys. Young guys. Old gals. Young gals. Cross gender. Gay. Straight. Rich. Not rich. Right in between. Artists. Street people. Business owners. Entrepreneurs. Grad students. Undergrads. Models between shoots. Retirees in for their daily news read and cuppa. Veterans. Cops. Black Lives Matter. Native Americans. Asians. Every variety of flavor and color and profession. Even a few scared looking private investigators.

It’s the hub of the wheel that is Kingfield. And the spokes are all the diverse people who call Kingfield home and Five Watt their front room and meeting place.

Best. Coffee. Ever.

Want a basic cup of joe? Got it, and Ash and Andrew can quote TWIN PEAKS at you while they pour. Complex nuanced takes on the latte with home made bitters and other aromatics – start with the Kingfield or the Hibernator if you want to stretch your palate. Having a hard time deciding? Get an education from the friendly and knowledgeable baristas.

Best. Baristas. Ever.

Great attitude, remember your name and your drinks, mad skills. Thank you: Ezra, Andrew 1 and Andrew 2, Kendra, Ash, Bri, Ben, Jon, Lauren, Trevor, Brandon, Gabriel, and all the pitch hitters and 5W veterans, Caleb and Lee for entrepreneurial genius and coffee shop gurudom

Best. Coffee. Shop. Ever.

Come by. You’re a regular as soon as you walk in the door. Be cool, be respectful, tip well. They’ll...

I woke up this morning with my heart set on trying a paticular shop that I've been itching to get to. Much like every other time, it was closed. Apparently my cravings kick in on Mondays, the only day they aren't open. Perfect. Be that as it may, I still needed to be caffeinated or things would soon turn ugly.

The hunt began - to the Yelposphere in search of plan B. What caught my attention here was the house made bitters. Intrigued, I needed to know more. Nitro brew also available... hmm... my very tolerant of my whims husband's favorite. My choice was made. I'd do this for him! (& because I really needed more input on these bitters... and black Hawaiian salt...)

Seats were about 60% full, tho the majority were solos at 2-seater tables... and most were deep into the Matrix. No worries, we plopped our butts on the stage and watched - both of the guys behind the counter were surprisingly personable. It was easy to feel comfortable.

On to what you really want to know. Is the coffee any good. My husband said his nitro cold brew was & he appreciated it not being full of sweeteners. As for mine, the kingfield, it was thick and creamy, with a taste as rich as the aroma. The touch of salt offset the sweetness and enhanced the flavors, adding balance and depth. The cup finished clean, no syrupy residue or unmixed settlement. Good to the last drop has an entirely new meaning!

The added selection of toilet tissue was a fun touch and, obviously, a crowd pleaser. Parking can be tricky, piles of snow and limited space. Seating can be just as tricky. Totally worth a stop tho - if you like a...

I would really like to give this place 5 stars- I have been there many times and my experience is always hit or miss. I’m not really one to leave reviews, either but I make this review more as a warning. ⚠️ when I go in I always ask for decaf- I order decaf wherever I go because I have a health condition and cannot consume large amounts of caffeine. Well there have been a few times that I believe my request has been ignored even though I have checked afterwards “is this decaf?” Because my physical reaction to the coffee was unlike anything I’ve experienced. I couldn’t function. After this last time, I won’t be going back. I drank 1/3 of my drink and could feel it worse than ever. I drink decaf regularly and I’m ok, I don’t know if the staff doesn’t pay attention or what the deal is but I believe that when one particular staff member makes my drink it does have caffeine, because when others have made it I have not had this experience. Also he hasn’t been pleasant to me versus others. It is very strange. I understand decaf still has small amounts of caffeine in it, which I can handle. As I sad- I drink decaf regularly. This is way too strong if it really is decaf and they need to be aware of that because there are people out there whom this...
