I had high expectations because of the ratings. It was my anniversary, and so we ordered about 10 of their items on their menu for takeout. I like how simple it looked inside and relaxing atmosphere and I was excited to eat it at home- I couldn't believed how awful the food was, surely there must be something good out of the entree or appetizer that we ordered. It's either really bad or decent. Their wontons are decent [ the taste is simple, avocado roll is dec but it taste much dec with dippings, not sure if you call it avocado roll when there really isnt much avocado, I Felt like I have received a bigger wasabi on other restaurants] but the rest are awful, their meats are dreadful. The salmon in the curry was overcooked and awful. Some of the food is lacking or off with their seasoning. I had lots of leftover and I always eat my leftover for the following days but this time no, I put them to the trash, I saved 3 entrees and gave them another chance, I was hungry the next day and I ate the leftover and I really dont enjoy the food I ate only some because I was really hungry but I just threw it all away. I do however love their mango sticky rice[5/5], which the experience wasn't all bad because I did discover something that I love and wasn't really popular around the area but the sticky rice did remind me a lot of where I came from. I will, however, go back for their sticky rice only. The rest, 9 of the food, was below average and pure disappointment - I have no idea why people are giving in 5 stars. I am...
Read moreStopped by randomly for late afternoon takeout on a Friday after placing an order online. I had seen the Google reviews mentioned they have great Pad Thai, which turned out to be no understatement. This is officially my favorite Pad Thai in the Twin Cities! I've had it at a ton of restaurants searching for one with that perfect balance of sweet, tangy, funky, spicy, and salty (and bingo, now I know where to get it!). It avoids the common pitfalls I have experienced: cloyingly sweet, ketchup-y, missing the funk or sour, claggy, too dry. I got mine medium spicy which was lovely. No Minnesota spicy here.
The basil fried rice with vegetables was also awesome: savory, a little sweet, and lots of veggies. The fried tofu appetizer had a delightful sweet and sour. The mango sticky rice was perfectly sticky, sweet, and coconutty, and they were generous with the ripe mango.
Very few tables so I think takeout is their primary service but it is clean inside and they are friendly and efficient!

Read moreI called ahead for a pick up order.
15 minutes to prep, which I'm thankful for after a long day of studies and errands.
I've yet to get to my pad see ew, but that will wait until tomorrow. 🥰
Food review: As far as the chicken curry goes, this is suuuper delicious! It has a nice touch of spice afterwards for the non-spicy version. Thickness level is great and not too thick. You can taste the creaminess of the coconut base. This was perfect for the -10⁰ weather we have today.
Spring rolls were large in size, refer to photos for comparison to my standard glass cup. I can taste the freshness of the spring roll lettuce bits and cilantro. The sauce had a slight sweet taste, which is a nice touch to complement the spring roll.
Customer Service: The lady who answered the phone was very polite and was very polite when I went to pick up my order.
Overall: I had a great experience and really like the food quality. You can expect me here again, and I highly recommend here for when you're craving some Thai food or curry for the colder days...
